Let's ring in the 2014 year with an event of game and forum challenges. These challenges are awarded with tickets that are applied toward an ongoing lottery that I am managing.
[DJINN B4 Lotto Scam]
Challenges are awarded on a scale 1 to 20 tickets based on difficulty. Challenges are divided into persistent challenges, single award challenges, and challenge submissions.
[Persistent Challenges] These can be completed by multiple players per lotto cycle with either the first submission or best in show player (determined in description) being awarded the full ticket value and any subsequent entries being awarded at 50% of the full ticket value.
[Single Award Challenges] This is claimed by the first or correct agent to satisfy the terms of the challenge. These challenges may include things lore trivia, solving forum puzzles, vetted bounty contracts, etc.
[Challenge Submission] Submitting a challenge idea with a description and reasoned argument for a ticket value awards 1 ticket.

I would like to suggest a persistent Challenge.
-Solid Snake vs. Liquid Ocelot - Two players on the same team of a FW battle fly a dropship up to their MCC and begin a melee battle to the death. The challenge is worth 8 tickets per player involved for the effort or organizing this in match and submitting a video to claim the prize.

I'm not sure if players will be able to kill each other with Melee attacks in FW. We will find out. Submission posted.

I'm going to recommend some PS Move-centric challenges.
No Buffs, Fisticuffs - Score a melee kill with the PS Move Controller.
Details for Challenge: [Submission] [Claim with Video]
PS Move control scheme must be active, wherein swiping or jerking the Move controller activates the Melee. I would recommend this one for a 17 ticket payout. At least in my experience it is quite uncommon and difficult to score a melee kill in the first place on the DS3. With a PS Move, the challenge becomes compounded as you have to work with a different mechanism for turning and tracking that is tied to the move controller. Jerking the PS move to initiate a Melee strike is going to jostle your screen perspective. Challenges on challenges. Have fun.
Move Aside for this Driver - Lay down suppressive fire on a choke point or contested objective using a PS Move enabled Mass Driver.
Details for Challenge: [Submission] [Claim with Video]
Value 4 tickets. Any kill with Move enabled Mass Driver awards up to an additional 2 tickets. A straight forward and easy challenge that is put forward to increase media presence of Move controls for discussion.
The Sharpshooter - Score a headshot with a PS Move enabled sniper riffle of your choice.

Value 14 Tickets: The twitch of the raw-input for the move controller creates a challenge for lining up pinpoint shots.

Challenge: Scout Intel
Finish a round with over 500WP. No deaths. (for the record, thats about 33 scan kill assists. Get a good squad)
You can only generate WP by scanning targets. No capping, No shooting, NOTHING.
It's the ultimate scout test. Remain unseen, yet see everyone.
Award: 10 Tickets

Kill 10+ targets in a round. You can only use splash weapons. Mass Driver, Flaylock, Grenades, RE's, and Plasma Cannons.

As much as I want to I cannot do that. However, I will open up the option of players being able to pledge any given amount of tickets to another player. If you want to show your appreciation for this brilliant stunt why not send him 6 of your tickets? I will make a not in the excel ledger.

No, as you have reached your purchase cap you can no longer purchase any tickets on your account regardless of it being for someone else. You can however send him ISK directly to his character and ask him to purchase tickets with it, or use the tickets you have currently amassed and are currently building through challenges to offer for transfer.

Also, I think one of the challenges is impossible, namely "kill a Tank with a Dropship via direct ramming." You bounce off the tank, doing no damage to them, going to 0/0 yourself, and the instant you touch the ground you explode. Tried 5 times. Managed to get it on video once.
I don't have a capture card. What I do have is a cellphone camera mounted on top of a whiskey bottle (seriously.) Will that quality work for turning in the other challenges? |

Yes you can claim your own challenges. However, in those cases I will not accept the video if it doesn't satisfy these criteria.
- You must open the XMB (PS Menu) so i can verify the Date and Time that video was taken to avoid cheating by posting old videos
- Videos can be recorded with every kind of camera (Cellphone, Digital Camera...), but i have to be able to recognize the time in the XMB, the killbar, and your own character name.
As for what you showed with the last video. That quality is perfectly fine (nice job on making that work). When it comes to kill based challenges it's paramount that I can see the scrolling kill tags.

Target: Little TimmyGÇÖs college fund.
Goal: Add up all non-module, non-starter BPOGÇÖs you have. This includes: Raven, Sever, Valor, Dragonfly (Assault and Scout), Dren (Scout, Assault Logistics, Heavy), Militia BPOGÇÖs (like the Skinweave), Light Weapons (Shotgun, Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Swarm Launcher), and Sidearms (SMG).
How to claim: Pictures or Video of all acceptable BPOGÇÖs.
Joseph notes (For JadekGÇÖs consideration): Modules do not count as they use to cost about 50 cents apiece so you have people with 10 of each Militia Module. I also wouldnGÇÖt include Templar stuff as that doesnGÇÖt show up as a bill from Sony and could have been bought with ISK. Recruiter stuff also left out. All up to Jadek's discretion.

30 tickets for a winner take all makes more sense. The challenge was about 10 different things before I came across the Tera Nova article. I just forgot to change the ticket amount. |

How to Claim: Video of you 'helping' a friendly Scout by shooting at the enemy they are trying to kill, causing the enemy to take notice that there is something in the area. Video must show the Scout being killed by the enemy.

Challenge:Body Cavity Bomb
Role: Anything with remote explosives
Target: Medic and Friends
Goal: Kill an enemy with any kind of weapon but not anything that would prevent needle resurrection (explosives and headshots are right out). When they are down, throw a remote explosive on their corpse. When an enemy medic runs over to raise them (must have needle in hand), detonate the bomb. Time it right and you can get them both!
How to Claim: Video of the event.
Reward: 10 tickets.
Forerunner bonus: 3 bonus tickets (13 in total). Subsequent claims will yield 10 tickets but no detriment.
Challenge: Toro! Toro!
Role: Matador de toros
Target: Jeeps
Goal: Despite living in the Southwest U-S-of-A, I have exhausted my Spanish. Anyway, the goal here is to throw remote explosives on an enemy jeep as it is trying to run you over. Sidestep and toss remotes on them. Detonate the explosives to kill them and the jeep. The Remote must be placed as it is trying to run you over but you get out of the way.
How to Claim: Video of the event.
Reward: 15 tickets.
Forerunner bonus: 5 bonus tickets (20 in total). Subsequent claims will yield 15 tickets but no detriment.

Target: The Souls of the Damned
Goal: Reap the Souls of the wicked by sending them directly to Hell! Using a tank, fit turrets so that blueberries jump in. Situate your tank underneath a low roof, open the map, exit the map, and laugh maniacally as you and your victims take the express elevator to Hell! Fall through the map with your victims in tow.
