LOL Just looked at district info and only noticed 1 district under attack (out of 50+) that did not have a full clone count. This is most likely due to everyone using the free district locking exploit. http://www.dust-gents.com/districts.php This is simply ridiculous. PC might as well not even exist.

Truth. And even if there were fights going on, you'd be hard pressed to find a battle that didn't turn into a lagging slideshow.

Back on subject, I put the same thing in a post of my own although not quite so bluntly: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=133218&find=unread Hopefully, CCP will recognize one of these threads so PC can be corrected.

2. There was just a major war.
3. 22% of the districts are on Asian timers, therefore unreachable.

Eh, I don't think it's as terrible as the forums would have everyone believe. I log on pretty casually these days and I get to fight a PC battle every time. Granted, many of those are consensual battles, but there have been non-consensual ones as well. Most of the non-consensual is filled with ringers, but meh.
I will say that CCP needs to change the "exploit" used to lock districts as there are some pretty terrible corps hanging on to their districts via the exploit or lag-bombs. |

If you really want to get an idea of the current state of PC then check out: http://www.dustcharts.com/
71 Districts under "attack" and you got over 20% of districts on timers between 1200 and 1300 Eve time.
After the price changes it should no longer be possible to lock a district for a profit.

Lol your corp locks their districts. I'm not saying Molon is terrible because they aren't, but it is clearly not just inadequate corps that use this exploit. |

Are you questioning the veracity of my site in order to plug a competitor?
Currently, price changes are irrelevant for district locking, by the way, since attacks are refunded in full.

Not questioning your site as it was on of the first to pull the crest data and give that information to the community. (The low clone count section will always be a useful tool.) I just like to load up the Dust Chart's pie graph and then proceed to facepalm on the state of PC.

Unfortunately, it is.
It's easier to see which corps do NOT lock their districts, they are always the same corps.
+1 for What the French, it's good to see an EU corp still doing PC and all their districts are online.
AE and O.H always have everything online too (O.H doesn't hold own any district right now, since we lost the war against AE, but we're about to come back)
Nyain can do whatever they want, since their timer is almost unreachable, they can keep their districts online without being attacked.
I agree with Regnyum about holidays, but I also can't recall the last time I saw an online district from (for example) Molon Labe and many other corporations.

Do we? /shrug Doesn't make the tactic any less cheap. I will say we are one of the most active PC corps, so I wouldn't be surprised if some districts are locked simply because we have so many daily battles. In the end though, I'm just a little indian here in Molon Labe. Those decisions are made elsewhere. |
