The other day one of the blueberries spawned in at drop link on top of a building as a HMG and proceeded to kill the other four blueberries and destroy our uplinks and nano hives. The FW "Punish" feature is too mild. I think it should be if you get two "Punish" in a day you get 86'ed from FW for at least a day. |

What's the difference between an immobile Minmatar ship and a pile of garbage?
The pile of garbage is more lethal.

Am I the only one that thinks any feature that stops griefing/trolling/etc is a feature that shouldn't exist. The punish feature especially.
Now, there are exceptions. Super d*ck moves like stealing an LAV (Although it fits in. That DOES cost you money), or killing and then reviving over and over again, is just terrible. If it severely hinders your ability to play, it shouldn't exist.

Come on, Art. Being killed costs you money. How is that different from someone stealing your ride? I think we have a decent balance where someone can sabotage one team a fair amount before militia command removes them from a battle. A smart saboteur will avoid team killing and focus on removing capabilities such as destroying uplinks and fluxing their own team. Any outright troll should be removed fairly soon.
I do think the kill/revive thing should be fixed since the only counter is to logout.

I will take it a step further because the punish measure is too lenient .
The greater one's standings in the FW matric , the greater the punishment . If you are killed by FF by a particular team mate then that gear that they had on at that moment should be included into the killed person's salvage if that person happens to die after killing you . 3 FF bans in a week should lead to one being banned for a week because it is clear that that person doesn't care about their standings or that faction .
When looking at the overall map and a tank is being destroyed it turns yellow and then disappears , when you have a saboteur who destroys drop links and nano's then they should turn yellow and should be able to be killed by their assumed team mates and their gear salvaged as well as if they are killed by the enemy team , they get nothing from said saboteur and once they respawn they remain yellow for the duration of the battle with the same terms until the match ends .
They need to fix the matric so that the real culprits are punished in excess and not those who are defending themselves while wearing proto or in use of aurum items . They cost money and in some cases REAL money and the culprits should be punished . NO player who kills a team mate should receive any salvage that game and especially not from the team mate that they killed .

Infiltration and sabotage is considered a legitimate tactic in the CCP game environment. Further once an item is an in-game item, it is no longer subject to any protection from loss. Your aurum suits are considered "At your own risk" expendables. They are not protected by any special measures of the Devs. If you don't want to risk losing them, do not use them.

See this $h!T really gets to me just like those idiots who talk about " get good " . You work hard to acquire prototype , it cost money and REAL money might I add to gain aurum items . Why should I have to worry about a " team mate " killing me when we are suppose to have the same goals and interest at heart . Why do they punish and ban for FF then ???? I am so glad that I don't drink and smoke ( must be crack or meth ) what people like YOU do . It's burning your brain cells .
What was all of the hoopla about with the BPO's if I am wrong and these issues don't mean anything ???? People care about the money that they spend . People care about the hard work and the gain that comes from it , else why play ???
It's people who think like you that are happy with this stale and stagnant game and that feels those who have been playing longer are better and crushes those who are new .
If infiltration and sabotage was suppose to be a legitimate tactic then punishment and banning should not be supported for FF kills but they are because players that stoop to such measures ruin the game for those who are loyal to their faction and just would like to play and support their races or sympathizers faction .
You have a choice and that should be to support the faction who's interest are similar to your own and not to waste the time of the faithful .
Cowards . These are the same people who run in circles in the MCC or in home spawn or who run the opposite direction when you are engaging the enemy . Cowards .

that's fair enough.. IF, once the infiltrator is discovered, you can put a stop to their actions.
Problem is, in DUST, there is no viable mechanism to do so.

So, hypothetically, what if I didn't want to support any faction but still wanted to play FW?
Edit: I don't want to be a Merc that has to show alliance. I'll definitely help and play fair with a team that allows me to do what I do with little to no communication from my end. (I'm a Heavy, so I only have one role.(Well, two if you want to count my Scanmmando))

You really have no clue what's going to happen the day EVE and DUST markets go live together do you?
If CCP ever finalizes the EVE connection, what we do to you in Faction Warfare, and the Awoxing we subjected you nerds to in Planetary Conquest will look like two small children playing pat-a-cake in a sandbox. |
