Playerbase is so small.
Should just make a rule that you can't be completely taken out of PC if you can field 16. 1 district, sure...but getting completely wiped is tough for most other corps that invested 100 mill into taking something only to be eaten up by someone up the foodchain before they really get hooked on the potential PC can entice with.
0.02 isk.
1 district is nothing but pocketchange if you're worried about farming. 4 mill a week shared by 20 members (lol trying to field a PC team with only 20 members)
I even dreamed up a side rule to go along with it that would give any team in PC the ability to see if a team qualifies for protection by posting up within 24 hours of attack (if it's their last district) that this is a [insert word to describe a specific match used to prove you can field 16 of your own and thus earn protection from the rule) match and then if they don't show up with 16 of their own then the district can be flipped from that war or set of attacks. And you can only we challenged to prove protection 1ce each week, which can be posted here, or mailed to a director/ceo of the respective corp.
Feel free to troll or perhaps improve the idea.

Good old AE, more assumptions from J3 and Bob spewing bullshit about how this is just for us.
STB and TSOLE are also very old and established corps. STB is the largest active playerbase in the game and TSOLE is the largest Aussie playerbase in the game.
This rule would protect fledglings like Grave, or cobra connection who doesn't have that playerbase to draw on from taxes. a 5% tax from a super active 30 man corp will only yield about a clone pack worth of isk.
FA can be exempt from this rule since AE's only legitimate concern seems to continue to hinder on fantasies that this is about FA. We beat you 2-3 and didn't lose a district when we could field 16 since the New Year...forgive us if losing districts to you seems less important.
The problem of PFC is that instead of allowing people to discern what taking districts feels like and that that entails in PC logistically it prevents that crucial portion.
Allowing PFC to begin as a free for all would work as well, tbh.
Let them fight each other learning how difficult it is to take and hold 25 districts and forging the partnerships perhaps to take more than they could....interesting things happen.
And Yes TP helped out a lot of corps stay on the map instead of simply taking everything...from the work that was done putting people on Altbrard to Sakulda to Skarkon and other places TP actually did quite a bit keeping corps who would have been reduced to nothing safe.
So yeah...go talk to 3dge of Darkness for example about the work TP did for corps tat wanted to be PC active [to name just 1].
Anyone else aside from AE pridehards around with an opinion?
It's simply an idea, and the closest criticism that held any water was that this shouldn't be carebear.
Does the community share the sentiment?

BobThe 844-1 CakeMan wrote:o like helping STB then letting your own alliance take it back.or at least attack them.
yea tht was a help to them.
and by help you mean sell right?
and if u didn't get your "insurance plan" they would just be screwed over.
you ever wondered why no one would buy land from you?
because no one could afford it Lol.
lets not even talk about the prices you put on PFC.
and for those few corps you did help you screwed over a lot more. if you really wanted this in TPs you would have given the districts away for free and not a price tag + insurance.
You can go lie and make TPs seem better than it was. plus if you were really so helpful why would the entire community attack you ( FEC ) although it still failed it only goes to show how many ppl actually like TPs. Lol
Actually we sold a **** ton of districts, lol.
A **** ton. LOL.
We sold more districts than anyone ever sold in the history of dust. I couldn't tell you specifics, cause that was cubs baby, and yes a sweet bit of profit was made. It was above 100 mill I think at it's peak.
And we never attacked a district we sold, personally. If TP sold you one that didn't mean you got EON as your buddy though, lol.
Gunfall and CI buying skarkon is a great example of them not paying for insurance, they defended it themselves, and we didn't screw them over in the least, same with indies on altbrard.
I wasn't the leader of TP, but **** off if you think Cubs was there to **** everyone, that's just brainwashed meta.
Or butthurt from when TP smashed your little ringer corp and took your stuffs talking, in which case I can see your points need to simply be discarded for the trash they are.
Actually tons of corps like subdreddit didn't hate anyone, they just were joined to the cause of EoN holding too much land.
You and J3 seems to have the same problem associating action with attitude. Simply because people wanted to relieve districts from a bloated eon doesn't mean everyone hated TP. Sorry Bob.
I never attacked STB and I don't see any STB complaining about our relationship with them. I did help defend their land and loved the peeps I played with. Nothing but respect to them for the positive experiences I've had with them.
You can keep on with the bullshit Bob, but you obviously came into this thread with an agenda that isn't constructive criticism.
When you can let go of you little bullshit butthurt try again.

Interesting, well until they do what do you think of shaking things up?

CYRAX SERVIUS wrote:If CCP would open up more planets so some of the more middle talent corps could get a foothold and have a lot of their own little wars it would be a good thing. The problem is as soon as a mid sized corp aquires a district they are immediately attacked and wiped by the powerhouses. I understand it's a free for all and those are the risks you take, maybe open up a couple dozen of the hundreds of planets just sitting there doing nothing and only corps with less than 150 members could aquire space there it would open up a new level of competition.
There are a lot of corps our size with some pretty talented players that would love to go at it as the big dogs do but can't cause soon as they take districts, they get hosed. The big guys can have their wars and the mid size and talent corps can have thiers.
Just thinking, maybe a bad idea, just sayin'....
Until mid size corps realize that 6 mid size corps could take districts from a quintuple stacked AE timer, this problem will continue.
But yeah, I can't feasibly implement your idea, but mine is in the short term.

Dust User wrote:why cant everyone just fight and stop all this "this planet is off limits because its only for noobs."
PFC is bad, this idea is bad. if you want in PC fight your way in, lock your districts and wait for CCP to give you a reason not to.
This original portion of the idea doesn't involve PFC, but a sort of carebear rule to encourage small corps that are otherwise languishing in pubs to see the potential fun PC can offer.

More bullshit I refuse to respond to when it's already been buried. Bob obviously has an axe to grind and has nothing of value to say on the subject, anyone else?

I don't disagree that opening up more districts would also solve the problem. Although, if they haven't made PC less laggy do you really think opening up more regions is a priority?
