Yes, driving behind a cargo box shouldn't make them disappear from radar..

More to the point, you should be able to spot a vehicle on scan way beyond your regular passive scan radius.

They should just get rid of the circle in the upper left hand corner , it doesn't work . The only time a tank shows up is when you see it and what good does that do when I'm looking there to see what's around me . If scanners are mandatory for one to receive a signature then the circle shouldn't be seen until a scanner is active .

Same with suits , what is the use if the only time a signature shows up is when that person is in eye sight distance . I skilled into level 4 in the core and still have the same problem . With all the 10% this and 5% that I believed that it would have made a greater impact and that's why I'm not placing a single skill point into maxing it out for a mod . Why have the so-called bonuses available if they don't actually benefit any . I just don't believe that most people have their core maxed out with all the prototype weapons , suits , grenades and equipment that is being used , so I should have an advantage but in fact I don't . Another case of a waisted skill point sink , except for scouts .

You realize how passive scanning works right?

Or they can undo what they did to break passive scanning for Uprising in the first place.

But no... their love affair with active scanning will keep that from coming true. :0(

My superduper high technology suit should be able to determine the location of vehicles based on the soundwaves produced alone.

I really have to agree with the general sentiment, if not the specific approach for this thread. Vehicles should show up at a much greater distance than dropsuits.

Tanks should be always visible. And TBH they should make a lot more noise than now.
Sometimes they are just plain silent!
