The fact that everything I roll with is proto. No militia. 21 mill sp into tanks, knowing all the hiding spots, knowing every counter to every tank fit, knowing how many shots it should take to kill a noobs tank, and a actual tankers tank. And most of all, knowing when to stand and fight or retreat. Also, knowing your tank, knowing your weapon, knowing the maps, knowing how you turn, what's behind you, knowing when your completely a sitting duck. Jumping out to recall or to forge gun isn't a tanker. Treating the tank like it's just transportation isn't tanking. Redline rail sniping outside of pc isn't tanking, I don't care who you are....bad furry.it's a lifestyle. If you think you are, your probably not, just like I think I'm an assault guy sometimes, as much as I think I am , I'm not good on the ground and I accept it, I don't try to fool myself.

I think what it comes down to is impressing the vet tankers, for instance:
If i run into a tank THATs NOT MILITIA or BASIC torrets, and he puts up a good face-to-face fight, i go "ok, not bad, hhmmmm"
and if i keep seeing him around killing other GOOD FITTED tanks and putting up good fights, i tell him GG and nice job, then he's a tanker in my book. but he's only a tanker, NOT a good tanker, THATS earned in PC.

A real tanker spends the majority of their time in their vehicle and has done for months. I guess a real tanker is an experienced player who has spent a long time in vehicles and is known amongst other tankers, Your word doesn't mean **** until you've squadded up with others who vouch for you.

yeah i think this explains the "vets don't wanna help new tankers get better" post.
because its like a close family, and a CLOSED family lol.
we had to deal with so much nerfs and changes together and we pulled through.
you think were gonna let someone in the VIP table just because they bought us drinks?
