I destroyed a few but then I noticed militia tanks are much more effective at AV then my swarms so I started using militia tanks. (You can make a pretty effective fit with 0 SP investment) |

A few.
Most of them were very, very bad pilots however.

Yes. Having damage modded MLT rails is like having a IAFG of 1.6. They still need nerfing.

Skills also need to grant bonuses other than unlocking stuff.
A 0 SP MLT tank should die easily to one AV, while keeping maxed out tankers with complex modules and proto turrets tougher to bring down (as the current situation is with skilled tanks and complex modules).

(You can make a pretty effective fit with 0 SP investment) Same with me. It's actually cheaper to run a militia rail tank than to run a proto swarm suit, not to mention the longer range, no need to worry about being gunned down in less than a second and being able to move out of danger within a few seconds.
Life is killing me.

can I ask what is the difference? Shouldn't it be skill that allows a tank driver to succeed? If I had a prototype suit and charged a squad I would die easily. Militia and prototype suits are not more than a half of a clip apart. Why do you want such a drastic gap between the tanks? Do you really need that big of a handicap? The gunnlogi can fit four hardeners and a prototype blaster with a damage mod. That is absurd. |

1: That would mean that the Gunnlogi has 5 Hi slots, which it doesn't. Quiet.
2: Are you implying that after all that time grinding away making a perfect HAV, some scrub or some noob should be able to just as easily call in a **** fit HAV and be able to do as well as I can? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA no. This isn't Battlefield. People has got to realize that it isn't.

No but I would love to have my proto swarms with prof 4 and three complex damage mods (Total cost 180k for my good AV fit) be more effective then a militia tank with a militia railgun. (Total cost 80k and 0 sp investment) |

2 since 1.7 came out, and only 2 because I decided this game wasn't worth my time anymore once I saw the tremendous failure patch 1.7 get deployed.
It's a pity that this patch has been worked on for a couple months in a row and even pushed back, and yet, it still held very little adhesive to a large portion of the community. I think it is time to just watch and see if this game can even get itself back together...

there are two low slots where two armor hardeners can be placed. You should consider the waves of opportunity for there are none. If you need a new guy to tell you how to improve your already OP fits you should not be offering your opinion on the matter. You look foolish. Now you, quiet. |

I agree with some of this, but 2 Armor hardners won't really do much when you only have 1k HP. Just imagine 1,000,000% resistance on something with 1HP. You'll be alpha'd to all he!!.
Plus, it would be much better to fit an ammo extension unit in the lows, as that means less trips to the Supply Depot. (Who am I kidding, i'd just recall anyway).
That, or a PG/CPU mod allowing you to fit better turrets and mods. 20GJ Particle Cannons have horrendous fitting requirements, and those are only the small turrets. (Unless you have core skills invested into).
