The real problem is not the tanks or weapons or suits! The real problem is that CCP keeps introducing more and more without fixing the original problems. Scotty is still a freakin mess, for example, why does it keep putting people in a game that has two clicks left, why doesn't it put you on the warbarge anymore before skirmishes and dominations and it sure is hell isn't keeping the playing field even! Once a game is 3/4 over you shouldn't be put in that game unless you get an option in settings or something. I want a fresh game every time! The game still dc's which has cost me soooo many tanks and drop ships and suits that it is rediculous! By now you would also think the game would stop locking up my ps3 and giving people fatal error codes!!!! I just finished a game in amazement as I watched as anyone on my team went to attack the enemy's tank the game went into the worst lag I've ever seen, but only when his tank was attacked. (Best use of lag switch I've ever seen) Why can't this be stopped! I am still watching people just sitting under their MCC or at their base doing nothing the entire game. I thought you were supposed to be kicked. Can they still be point farming (isk or sp)? It used to be murder taxis and now you have guys taking free lavs, free suits, and attaching explosives so when they run into your tank(no matter what kind of tank) you automatically blow up! Which is total B.S.!!! Even in real life if a jeep ran into a tank nothing would happen to the tank fix so you can't put explosive on lav! So please, for god sakes, before you build another suit, make a new vehicle, add another fully covered map, or even think about producing a new weapon, do you think you could fix the mechanics of the game that has been brought to your attention on numerous occasions by multiple people. In fact, the next build should be nothing, but fixing game mechanics. There is nothing worse than shooting at a guy who is in front of you and as the bullet is about to hit him/her, watching your guy fall to the ground because you just took a bullet to the back of the head by that same guy because of a glitch or lag! Thank you for your time.
P.S. To all the trolls that won't even pay attention to what was just said. I already know my grammer, punctuation, and sentence structure stinks...thank you very much! I also know I am not perfect and neither are the devs. This is merely my suggestion to get dust back on track because whether anyone wants to admit it or not... it is severely off tracks right now. |

No troll! This is supposed to be about content! Not grammer. I am not an English major fa99ot. I am a blue collar worker and player that wrote this up on my phone in about 2 minutes. Try reading the entire post before you get all judgemental and off of the subject at hand, like a typical troll. Things need fixed before anything new is brought into game period! Oh, and by the way, you wouldn't have read my p.s. any faster with paragraphs because a p.s. comes at the end regardless. So you must just be a slow reader or just slow in the head! Good thing we're in the same alliance! Way to have my back. |

Listen up people. If I chose to write this as a text, then that is my prerogative... not yours. If you don't like it, well in short, up yours! Now, back to the intelligent part of the post( in text form...deal with it!) I have been playing longer than most of you and I understand the want(not the need) for new equipment, but the issues listed have been the same problems since the first build! If you fix these issues, then when you incorporate new equipment and new issues occur it is much easier to center in on the issues at hand and what is causing them. Left alone, the issues and bugs actually compile and they are harder to fix. It would be like you trying to be a nurse without taking biology 101, but getting new equipment and being told to just do your job. You couldn't because you were missing the basic building blocks. By the way this is an opinion of a much larger group than just myself. I am not stating a fact. This is an educated opinion of a group of people(some programmers of other games) and i am just trying to be the voice. Happy killing! |

Allow me to explain what has transpired here. I had told my programming friends about this game and this forum. I explained that most, not all, of the people that reply on these forums usually don't acknowledge the content of the posts, but instead, usually attack the author for minor things such as grammer, punctuation, sentence structure and so forth. While the opinion in this post is my own, it was used to show them exactly what I had meant.
Firstly, I owe everyone on here a great apology. The last reply on this post was that of my friend while I was in my shower. She is not very tactful and couldn't believe how fast someone derailed off topic just to "teach" someone else an English lesson. I never would have attacked anyone or told anyone up theirs! I am an ordained Reverend and it is not in my nature. So please omit that entry.
Second, to the nurse, I never meant to degrade you, your occupation, or your education. I, myself, have had quite a few years of college including one year at Ursuline College. It is a highly renowned college for nursing. I came to the realization that I could not do what you do for a living because it bothered me too much to see people in pain. I think that what you do is highly commendable and I thank you for your service to the public. Also, my sister is a nurse. So, I get it. :)
Now I would like to offer a little bit of information about myself to those of you that feel that I am unqualified to write a forum post. I write reviews for many products and establishments in my area and on the internet. Yes, people pay me. Therefore, I know exactly what I am doing, but thank you for your unwanted criticism anyway. I only state it that way because I did state I knew it was incorrect and i did ask that people not respond negatively because of this issue. Yet, people felt the urge to do so anyway, if out of spite. If I was writing a book, music, a letter or review, then I would use proper English and structure.
The fact of the matter is that this is a forum with posts that are written by people of all ages. This includes children and I find it amusing that people are quick to judge and criticize someone that they know nothing about aside from a screen name. A post can be written in any form as it is someone's thoughts and opinions. It would be quite different if the criticisms were about the ideas or content, but it usually is not.
It also kills me how fast people derail off topic and switch topics. They should just start there own topic i.e. proper grammer instead of ruining someone else's post and then harassing them about a completely different subject.
Back to the post, I have been around to watch every build and have watched many a great player come and go because of these issues. For example, they spent quite a bit of money on the game to watch their vehicles, weapons, suits, and modules(bought with said money) lost with every dc or freeze. While I understand the need to keep people enthusiastic about the game, we deserve a game that functions correctly. If you are telling me that you would quit if they took one build to fix these issues and equipment would come one build later, then I would call you a liar. You would stay for one more build because they keep putting off then pilot suits, yet here you are anyways. We have put up with these issues far too long and it does nobody any good when you get a new pilot suit, spec into it, pay for it and they take it away because it is making the old glitches worse. They have pretty much done this to me build after build. So I do understand. I want new things too, but I want them to work.
I realize that not everyone will agree with me. This post is for the people that do agree. As for the people that don't agree with me. This is a chance for them to make an educated rebuttle and possibly help by coming up with a better solution. Just telling someone that their "opinion" is wrong is very judgemental and hurtful. Especially if your rebuttle is vague, has no information, or has no research to back it.
While this is a game about killing it is not too far fetched to request that we respect other people's opinions, how they do things and respond tactfully to their posts. For all you know you are degrading a six year old on a forum.
Anyway, I hope I have explained myself and meant no harm in this process. As my friend said, "Happy Killing!" and let's all make a point to just be nicer to one another. |

Okay, good point. I will try and rebute what you are saying so bear with me. In your own statement you just claimed the USA and Britain have tanks to handle this. I would hope that in the future, where there is space travel and clones, we could build a tank to handle a small explosive jihad lav. Just saying.
To be honest, this was the weakest point on my post. The most important part is stopping the game from dc's and freezing up all of the time. So we stop losing equipment! Oh and fixing my biggest nemesis...Scotty!
If they concentrated on fixing those three things this game would be sweet! Again, just my opinion. |
