Sure, the Rail Rifle, Rail Gun, and Gunlogi are pretty amazing, but a suit takes far more SP to get to Op5 than anything else. Charlotte O'Dell is the highest level unicorn!

Kallas Hallytyr Skullbreakers 225	Posted - 2014.01.01 16:40:00 - [3] - Quote As was stated a million times during the Logi Dark Ages, the fix is to bring Assaults up such that they are the go-to 'Killer' suit. Logistics are operating perfectly fine as Logistics, but due to Assault suits being insufficiently effective in comparison the Logistics suit is used in place because of their greater versatility. The most effective way to bring Assault suits up would be to give them the same High/Low module slot layouts as their racial Logistic counterpart, bring up the PG/CPU accordingly to account for the increased available modules and then give them effective Role/Racial Role bonuses. Assault Role Bonus: +1% damage to Light Weapons per level Amarr: Current is good, it allows them to maximise the potential of their racial weaponry. Caldari: Current is ok, perhaps a reduction to spool up time of Hybrid - Rail weaponry? Gallente: Current is alright, perhaps an increase to ROF of Hybrid - Blaster weaponry? Minmatar: Current is alright, perhaps an increase to clip size of Projectile weaponry in general?

I agree logis need work, and being a logi, I even made threads about this need for re balance before 1.7 however, I find tanks and av imbalance to be such a larger problem that for now, a thread like this is a disservice to that cause. ccp cannot multi task so lets keep the focus on the lol tank spam and lol AV nerf for now. this game makes me sad....

CCP does what they want, when they want, and how they want. You show them a video of a recoiless AR and they tell you it's mechanically intended to save face and decide to nerf shields. Show them some video proof of logis not "working as intended" and they'll probably buff tanks more to compensate by using their fancy mathematics they use to balance this game. I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"

They are balanced at std and some at ADV but at Proto they blow away other medium suits and pretty much scouts. The base stats being lower means without mods, you suck. But with mods the suit beces a beast, a expensive beast, but a beast nonetheless. The problem is, even with other suits having better base stats, the Logi can always do better. I think it needs to keep its jack of all trades style of playing, it just has to be a master of none. The most simple thing is give it a higher stacking penalty when using dmg mods and give better bonuses for equipment. Thought that honestly won't stop people from running no equipment and 4-5 dmg mods plus all basic plates in the lows. I hate the comparison you made since congress has totalitarian control over the country with more power than even the president himself, and us the majority are less than a minority since our votes don't even matter.

How would that help? Everyone's complaint about the logi suit is that people don't use their equipment slots and instead use all the fitting power for tanking and damage mods. Suddenly assault players will be happier because they can leave an empty equipment slot too? You may as well just come out and say that you want more CPU/PG, there's no way you actually want just an equipment slot with no extra fitting power to fill it with.
