Do any other North American players feel that the UK influence on DUST is too strong? The UK is weak sauce. Every player that they have is a whiny byatch. For too long CCP has been listening to these jokers meanwhile, eastern NORTH AMERICA is where the FPS players of the world are dominant. Look at COD, HALO, CS, BF open online stats. Eastern NORTH AMERICA is where the best FPS players live and roam. I say eastern NORTH AMERICA, because all my Canadian brothers have grew up and played with us for too long to be left out with just saying eastern USA. If you ain't from Michigan to Nova Scotia, you ain't sheeeet. Nyain San would be dominated in a LAN party. NOREASTERN AMERICA MUTHAFUCKAS, we got game and that is why if you ain't from here STFU about the game. |

mm i dunno seems to me that in America while there may be more players the quality really varies i rarely run into a uk guy who's a complete scrub..nor have i ever seen anything but excellence come from Australia (shoddy INTERNET aside).

i think its wrong to say ccp should listen to any area of the world merely because of player numbers, i think the best way to progress is learning to differentiate between the players that are good enough at dust and have spent enough time to have the sp acquired to really give a judge of their OWN SPEC. area is not a defining factor in that everyone has they're newbs and everyone has shoddy players.
btw i as an American i find this thread offensive and feel it only feeds into the stereotypes the rest of the world holds for us Americans.

here is even a reason for why ccp SHOULD listen to those in uk over America.
we all know the devs of ccp that work on dust the most operate out of shanghai so there is a definite language barrier.
In America our education system has seriously fallen off leaving a majority of the past few generations with poor etiquette, grammar, and punctuation. all of which have serious impacts when trying to broach a language barrier. on average i would say it is most likely that ccp has an easier time understanding the European playerbase because they do not have such widespread issues when it comes to written English.
