All people who have read 5 lines about the lore and think they know the factions run and join Gallente / Minmatar. This results in most experienced players fighting for them. Caldari and Amarr are just made up of scrubs who have all factions checked just to fill these matches so that a battle can take place.
Caldari and Amarr aren't any more bad than Gallente / Minmatar. I mean seriously: Gallente burn people alive. Yeah. Definitely goals I want to stand for.
Sign up for Caldari FW and defeat the evil Gallente Overlords!

I side with Amarr. There are the "good times" where they win game after game in a certain span of time, and then it all goes to **** because they don't have the manpower to keep the land that they win after that span of time.

As I see it, it's all about popularity and the fact that the most used and useful items draw the attention to the factions offering them in their loyalty stores. And well, Gallente store has it, the assault rifle which is by far the most used weapon class.
Is there a way to fix this? Yes, I believe that removing the most common equipment and weapon variates or at least their halved fitting cost versions from the loyalty stores would fix this. |

If anyone reads about the Galente- Caldari war maybe more people will want to play as Caldari?
The Galente are in no way the "good" guys of EVE. I'm only playing Galente right now for the easy wins for CCP's 12 days of Christmas event. But as soon as that's over it's pure Caldari for me (and maybe a little minmatar, because, you know, free the slaves and all that). |
