Slightly-Mental Planetary Research and Investments 24	Posted - 2013.12.30 10:56:00 - [1] - Quote I am new to tanking.. wanted to re-skill into something, and i want a change from snipping.. tanks are fun.. granted i am very low skilled and I've lost a good number of tanks as i am learning... but its fun. Early hours of this morning 6am, my last game, as i am learning, and trying different fits i thrown a CRU on my tank... Now it was a good match, we was pined down by a couple of armour blaster tanks, i was in a good spot taking pin shots taking out their Shields, low skilled and my missiles wasn't doing much their armour, and a good few ppl spawned useing my CRU with SL's. my question is logi's get war points for ppl spawning on their drop links.. why do tankers not get any love for using a CRU ? Even dropship's get a few war points for transporting * I know its a crap amount, and last i heard it was broke, but its something. Can we get alil bit of love and get a few wp's for the use of CRU's ?

Tanks easy rock 1000 WP in every almost every match ( if you are a dedicated tanker) I am sorry but if you are having some problems as a new tanker getting WP I find that as it should be. Uplinks aren't mobile. Uplinks can't shoot people. Giving HAVs the same reward for CRU is stupid, if you only do it for the WP, you are doing it wrong.

That's why small turrets are optional and removing them removes the gunners seat now. It's totally justified because blueberries giving away your position or not getting out when you need to recall lost your tank. But yes, mcru's should give warpoints.

My tanker spends a large amount of time hunting other tanks in a railtank. Most pilots bail before their vehicle blows. If I'm not able to switch into my blaster turret at some point, it's not that easy to rack up WP. In contrast my logis and now my heavy rack up twice the WP of my tanker. Not that I don't feel the tank isn't awesome right now and any power balance issues aside, I think the difficulty for each "class" to earn equal WPs definitely needs evened out. Pilots getting WPs for CRUs always seemed like a no brainer and I could never understand why they didn't. AV needs a serious WP buff and if it is based on damaging vehicles, without necessarily destroying them, that would go a long way to helping pilots' WPs as well. No, really, get out of the tank and drop an uplink; it takes seconds and I have not died doing it this whole week. Add in hacks with Code Breakers for serious WP. Forget 1000 WP.
