playerbase woulda been 40k minimum if they ahd done the smart thing and made DUSt an integration fo the EVE client adn account on PC instead of a standalone F2P on PS3 attempting to compete with franchises with billions more in advertising and a decade to entrap a playerbase |

It's not that. It's that CCP wanted to bring players in from the Mainstream. Deal is that Dust doesn't offer anything to bring them in. Dust will never be a very popular game and that's just how it will always be.

For a game that isn't advertised and is the first FPS game released by CCP 3,500 people a day isn't so poor. Obviously it won't compete with games like CoD and BF which are both over 8 years of player base building and is advertised on TV, radio, game stores, etc.
In all honesty I wouldn't have heard of Dust if it wasn't for my utter disgust in what CoD and BF has turned into and my deep diving into what games were out there besides them. It's not as if PSN even advertises it.
As for AngryJoe, he's very entertaining to watch but very rarely gives any sort of constructive criticism. Any company that would listen to him may as well hire a dev team of prepubescent children. |

Dust has been placed on the opening page of the psn store off and on for the last 6 months, it also had a big 'FREE!" tag on it. Nobody wants to play a broken game. Free **** is still ****. |

I love this guy ... I watch every review of his I can find ... he is always right.
I also love Dust, so I cringe at the thought of an Angry Joe review.
I'm hoping Wolfman catches up on his backlog before Angry Joe gets to us.
It'd hurt too much to watch a review if based purely upon a 1.7 experience. |
