Maybe he was playing the long game and you killing him because you didn't get to kill a tank is ludicrous.
It wasn't because I didn't get the HAV kill, it was because he chose the wrong time to engage. I couldn't care less about the WP, its just a meaningless statistic, but us destroying that HAV, would've helped our team win, instead we got destroyed. And he would've seen my RE, or if he didn't, he would've seen that I was in the animation you get when you have REs out. The HAV survived, and went on to destroy our infantry.
Had you simply been faster and more efficient with your REs, you wouldn't have flubbed the opportunity, forcing your teammate to take a shot that he probably knew wouldn't work. Oh, sure, he was trying to bail your incompetent butt out, but it still was an inferior tactic brought about by some slow, clumsy RE planting skills. Of course, the only viable response you had was to short your team a clone to FF, because that sure as heck went back in time and planted those REs on that HAV.
tl;dr - the longer an explanation of why something went wrong, the more likely it really is "I screwed up".

Nope, I just go ahead and turn the match around anyway. It's what I do.

Nope, I just go ahead and turn the match around anyway. It's what I do. If you can lead a bunch of random blueberries to victory over Nyain San, while you're being redlined, I salute you. But I highly doubt anyone could do that.
