I've found that with the breach(for lack of a better name) variants, you start to see the gun raise up after the 12th round is fired, and it really starts moving after the 15th round.
Yeah I've also noticed a similar amount of kick with the level 4 assault rail rifle. |

constructive feedback: try scripting what you wanna talk about. it'll keep you from saying the same things over and over, and it helps eliminate the "umm". great video overall tho :)
Thanks for the feedback man, will do that for sure! |

Only recommendation would have been a bit more discussion on the downsides of using it the same ways in AR in closer quarters or against multiple opponents that are aware of your presence. You also didn't mention the spool time....it's a minor thing when used in its proper role as you were but much more key when trying to run and gun in closer ranges.
I know many folks on the form say they can smash opponents at close range with no worries and to them it's OP. I think they are right that to THEM it is over powered. To most folks that don't have varsity level gun game it's not.
Hey man, thanks for the suggestions! Will def talk about spool time with the assault variant spotlight. Very true, any weapon can be "OP" in the right hands. |

haha yeah, i'm hoping people will send in clips so I can make a montage of the best rag doll moments. If not, will have to save up my own clips lol. |

One video I would like to see (might be outside the remit/interests of the OP) is a performance analysis of DUST 514 based on all the footage people are capturing of their gameplay. I'm not technically proficient at all about game capture or graphics performance, but something similar to the digitalfoundry analysis done over at eurogamer.
What is the typical framerate during gameplay? How consistently is 30 fps being maintained? etc etc...
Anyway, just a thought. Thanks again for another cool video.
Hey man, thanks for the feedback. I'll look into this, but may take a while :) |

Th3rdSun wrote:Oh,btw,I hope this video will put to rest some of the ridiculous misconceptions of the RRs.I actually had someone try to tell me that while he was in a heavy suit,he got "melted" by a RR from 120 meters away.he also claimed that no one else was shooting at him and it was just him and another guy with the RR 1v1. I called BS and then was told that there were videos to confirm that they RR does "massive" damage from 100+ meters out.I was never directed to those videos,as I assume they don't exist.
If people would pay attention, you can see the effeciveness percentages on the bottom.I think it's about 9% from 120 meters out, which is doing practically nothing.
Very true, perhaps he was hit by a sniper at the same time and the rr user was simply lucky to get the last shot. |
