I have 15 mil in infantry and 10 in tanks. If I don't spend an entire battle fighting the endless horde of somas and sicas, we get stomped. 3 things need to happen: Tank HULLS need to be brought back to their original prices. Militia modules need their multipliers cut by a lot. We need heavy weapon WEBIFIERS (GA or AM heavy weapon maybe) We need low HP, high speed gunships with large turrets to hunt down tanks Militia tank speed and acceleration needs to be reduced by 10%.
These changes will make AV possible and fun again, Reduce tank spam, Not nerf the true tankers Give pilots a way to counter redline rails

I have an alt character for vehicles, but I realized how many times there is not an experienced tanker in my squad and it ends up with our competent infantry team stomped by MLT Tanks.
So I literally felt forced to throw some SP into Tanks even on my main character to get a half-decent tank to defend my squad. Needless to say, 2/3 games I have to call my tank to pop some jerks :/

Bud I have had the same problem but I am 10mill infantry which is fully into assault now I like what they have done to tanks but there's a problem with them. Since tanks are win and very cheap it makes it a tank spamming game. My first thought was this is ridiculous and they should be nerferd but that will not solve anything and it will be a no tanking game. I hate the why CCP does nurfing like they have never done an science experiment, hating to change one item/area to see if it's helps but go all out and make the things unusable. Tank drivers should have high K/D and make infanty very nervous.
My second thought and I think it is a better one which people may argue and myself have little faith with CCP on doing this is matching skilled tank drivers against other skilled tank drivers. Speaking to a tank driver and he says it's fun to fight against tanks now. And that's the way it should be. Not this is only for public matchs of course. It would be insane to do it in factional and pc's. I thought of this because I don't have tanks skills because I am horrible at it but I would like to be paired up with people doing public matches which have tanks skills. I know CCP trackes favourite suits and weapons so I no it could be done.
Now I know I should get a squad and run public matches but saidly a lot of my dust friends are on eve and it's currently a more exciting venture than dust is at the mo, I would join them but I am at home for the holidays and only have my bros ps3 to work with. |

FIXED. I think there should be a stacking penalty not just limit them to one. You don't see that with infantry modules so it shouldn't be done to vehicles. |

That will never happen with the hardeners. They do a stacking penelty already. If they I forced this say by to infantry damage mod stacking, shield stacking and armour stacking ect... |

Make milita tanks and gear more expensive. Reduce the range on large blasters. No more cheap tanks that have little to fear because they are out of reach of most infantry AV weapons.

A stacking penalty would be just fine instead of limiting fitting options. Really CCP just need to rebalance hardeners to make it so it's not as good to stack them but still possible just like damage mods. |
