Stinker Butt uses the Move.
HMG user, 8.+ù+ù KDR last time I saw.
Totally legit.
(Seems to actually be a cool dude, don't be afraid to hit him up in-game - as long as he's on the blue side.)
I would think Scouts would be too fast to be accurate.
Tanks would probably feel too sluggish to be interesting.
(I really don't know.)

It feels awesome, for AR type use.
However:
1. it's very tiring
2. it's not good for sniper, or probably pistol either.

Recently switched to DS3+ mouse combo.
DS3 (southpaw) in left hand + mouse in right.

I tried it and I didn't do too well during 1.6. The controls could use better mapping and I suck with the move with multiplayer. I only really used it for Resistance 3's campaign. |

I use the pistol but I customized it by gluing the nav controller to the base of the grip. Also I had to add a way to push the Move button without taking my hands off the grips.
Not competitive but a lot more fun by making aiming intuitive.
Not possible to melee unless you use the Sharpshooter rifle control layout but then you can't jump
Not easy to reload
If you use the Sharpshooter rifle the buttons are much better but it is much harder to turn because you end up having to hold it like an Uzi which is pretty awkward.
I love the Sharpshooter for sniping but I never do that now that I have better skills in things that are more fun.

I have tried to use the move with the gun accessory at least a dozen different times.
It is very frustrating because I either over or under aim. I have adjusted the settings too many times to count and it never feels right. And running and gunning doors not feel fluid. CQC is almost impossible.
I imagine if someone got really good with it, they could rock it. But I can't pull it off. |

I do not, but if you do -- allow enough space for safe use and tighten strap with strap lock.

I should mention that I have the official AR accessory thingie, so that helps :) plus the motion stick controller thingie. Kinda mandatory.
Additional points that are key:
1. you have to be picky about the sensitivity you set in-game.
Also, dead-zone settings. I dont like the defaults.
I tuned it to my preference, and it helped lots and lots.
2. you have to be VERY picky about calibrating it.
If you calibrate it right, it feels awesome.
If you're off, it feels.... weird.
You might want to go so far as to rest it on a stool or something when you do the "shoot the corners" thing for calibration. |

I do use the move. I like it a lot. I wish this game had more support for it. It takes some getting used to. It doesn't have the aim assist of the regular controller and you can't turn as fast as with the move, but I've become better with it than either of the other options. I was never very good at fps with a regular game controller, but grew up on the PC with mouse/kb.
It doesn't work well with large turrets, so forget about tanks. I switch to the mouse if I really want to do that. I play a heavy, HMG and forge gun, and I usually drive around in an LAV.
I wouldn't buy it for this game. I don't think they support it enough. Good games are bioshock infinite, resistance 3, killzone 3. Resident evil 5 is not too bad. you can be competitive with these games.
Please give tanks some balance
