The Minmatar Shotgun should shoot these 
but electrified 
The round should get larger the father away it goes.

Why not bolo rounds? They already exist in real life so why not in Dust? We could always make them explosive bolas but it seems so expected. We should go EM or maybe nuclear, like the SMG.

Leave making that sort of thing to the Caldari the Minmatar don't have the technological development to make that without it being a poorly crafted ball of Duct tape. Let em have the standard projectile scatter gun or alloy cannon.

I was thinking of a Plasma cord, which would be maintained through EM. EM does include Plasma weaponry that is electrified instead of just heated by a hot surface.

Of course we will have a Minmatar Shotgun, we will.have shotguns for all races. Just like we will have Sniper Rifles for all races, pistols for all races, and grenades for every race. Odd weapons like the Forge Gun may not be copied, but I doubt that it won't, I expect to see a similar weapon like the Forge gun for all races as well.
We already have some conformed wwapons, like the Gallante Ion Pistol, Caldari Bolt Pistol, Caldari Magsec SMG and Minmatar Precision Rifle (Sniper Rifle).
The Minmatar Shotgun will arrive eventually.

Then the bolo shotgun could be hybrid too, it is basically the same thing as a Nova Knife blade (which is Caldari). Also the other races are not against using each others technology, the MD for example is rail gun based.

Man... I give up. You guys don't seem to get that we will have racial shotguns, just like we will have racial snipers and racial knives(which are already concept).
