DUST Search - [BUG] Fatal Error quit and restart

How can one play a game and try to develop oneself as a player if there's no feedback afterwards as to how well one played?

I am tempted to leave Dust and let the passive SPs accumulate until this bug is killed.

Only solution is to quit game, which forces a hard restart of the PS3. This is only since 1.7 patch is not enjoyable at all.

I can play other games for hours with no problems. I can play dust for minutes from cold before it crashes. Only ever happened after 1.7. Submitted a ticket. Followed all advice. Still happens. Same story for a lot of people from what I can tell. Will now remove last 2 chat channels. Will try keeping ALL voice chat off. Maybe I'm wasting my time. Please CCP acknowledge this. I fear one day dust will kill my PS3 :-(

For me it ONLY occurs at the end of match screen (after the MCC explosion, but before the screen with stats show up). I did not play in a squad (or changed squad) prior or during the game, so I suspect we get a NullPointer error or something from the match results? When it occurs the next time I will post the games times and character name so you could check if there is something fishy with the end of match data.

Continual hard resets can end up bricking your PS3, its happened to me. If you are getting LOTS of fatal errors I would seriously consider taking a break until CCP fixes this (allegedly in 1.8). Sony should crucify CCP tbh, for allowing this **** to get through QA.

I restart log in and all works, My normal log in goes something like this Log in select character 1 get points log out select character 2 play game. Bug is not random but I can not recreate it without leaving PS3 off past downtime. I have played until just before downtime, left and come back 2 hours later and got bug Play after down time stop for 10 hours come back and no bug when I start It has missed a day when I do not log into first character for the bonus points, but not consistently. It has never missed a day when I do. I seem to earn isk and SP when it happens but it is hard to tell as it never gets to that display, but the wallet shows an increase.

I then tried to "Rebuild Database" several times and the console got into hard lock/black screen. I had no choice but to 'RESTORE PS3 SYSTEM"; wiping and losing everything I had on the console.
