Had it happen just now, do we lose out on that progress?
Actually I attempted to restart the game and the entire system hard reset, in case that's worth noting. |

I'm still getting it occasionally - only seems to happen at the end of match. Only solution is to quit game, which forces a hard restart of the PS3. This is only since 1.7 patch is not enjoyable at all. |

Sigh...
Just happened to me again.
Raised ticket, followed all of CCP's advice, keeps happening.
No acknowledgment from CCP on forum (correct me if I'm wrong), so I only have to assume they don't get it. All it needs is a post to say "we know and we're on it"...
Only PS1/PS2/PS3 game that's ever fatal errored on me. |

Just happened yet again.
Why no acknowledgement from CCP?
This is not a hardware fault. I can play other games for hours with no problems. I can play dust for minutes from cold before it crashes.
Only ever happened after 1.7.
Submitted a ticket. Followed all advice. Still happens.
Same story for a lot of people from what I can tell.
Will now remove last 2 chat channels. Will try keeping ALL voice chat off. Maybe I'm wasting my time.
Please CCP acknowledge this. I fear one day dust will kill my PS3 :-(

This has been reported before, I think they may be having trouble recreating the bug. Best bet is to keep providing info on what happened in the battle. |

Had it a couple of times, and it has defenetly been increasing in frequency after 1.7.
For me it ONLY occurs at the end of match screen (after the MCC explosion, but before the screen with stats show up).
I did not play in a squad (or changed squad) prior or during the game, so I suspect we get a NullPointer error or something from the match results?
When it occurs the next time I will post the games times and character name so you could check if there is something fishy with the end of match data.

I keep getting this from time to time. I thought the problem had gone away but I got this problem just yesterday again after not having it for a few weeks.
I will take your advice and try deleting saved game info stuff. See if that helps. |

Happened to me today in Ambush.
For once I was on the winning side and I actually had a rare shot land on someone's knee. Perhaps that alone was enough to send the game into spasms of shock and bewilderment
I have nothing to report out of the ordinary other than I was in a mission that completed. The PS/3 unit reset itself but that's all that I can report.
