if your not using teamwork in a tank your ALSO doing it wrong.
i solo tankers who are playing solo, tankers who use teamwork are a tougher nut to crack.
in my tank i always have squaddies as well, who i rely on for intel and direction they warn me of danger, they call out targets, they request support.
please do not assume things, not only that but im a tanker whos in favor of an AV buff, i know wierd right?
as my main who is dedicated infantry i use explosives, remotes, prox traps, sneaky tricks, plasma cannons, loads of things to kill tanks. its not what you use but how you use it that matters, so many infantry spam crap at my tank when my hardeners are running... they get a railgun to the face. |

While stacking hardeners and rotating use, when exactly are your hardeners off? I have seen little evidence of CCP's so called windows of opportunity.
a tank with rotating hardeners has TERRIBLE hp, you can aplha the thing with its hardeners on if it doesnt have at least 1 extender. and if it DOES have 1 extender then it cant perma run hardeners.
not only that but alot of tankers activate hardeners in responce to damage, not preemptivly against it, meaning if you co-ordinate for extreme aplha damage they go POP.
if your not seeing the windows of oportunity then get in a militia tank and explore it form the inside out, it doesnt take long to start figuring out their weeknesses when your the one behind the wheel. |

i dont think ti does anyone any good to ***** and moan about something being hard, i dont like being told that i cant do things either... so i just find new and interesting ways to acomplish my goals, in this case it was killing and avoiding tanks.
i RARELY get killed by a tank... in fact i kill tanks more then they kill me while running infantry. but i have the advantage of being a tanker myself, as well as playing a demolitions logi for a very long time now, and right now both those things are key to easily defeating tanks as infantry, untill last week i have never even spent points in light AV weaponry.... (i got plasma cannons BTW they are hilariously fun)
im frusterated mostly becuase even when i try to tell people how to kill off tanks easily, or how to avoid them completly, rather then use that information they get angry at me and i cant figure out why.
i do have the advantage this build though, im a tanker and a demolitions expert, the two things that really pack a punch against tanks, and being really good at both those things makes it really simple for me. |

The game is broken.
they wanted ALL of it in the game.from 1.0 till 1.7 tanks were.... useless... wich isnt good for the game either.
its not like CCP doesnt know that things arnt quite going to plan.
your either playing this for the long game of being apart of it from the begining untill it rises to EvE status or your going to go play something else for a while. |
