Hello, I have an open ticket on this since the 12-22-13 and no response yet?
Anyways... I am on the east coast USA and I bought a Gallente FW Boost that is worthless because I can't get on a game to use it. The wait time is now up to 2:45 or 3:00 minutes if you round up. Then just when I am about to get into a match I get disconnected.
I was wondering if there were any other folks fighting for Gallente out there experiencing anything similar?

Thanks CCP for taking my $$$. How can we earn FW points when we can't even get into any matches. Again, not even during beta testing did we have to wait over 3:00 minutes to possibly get into a match. Every time I try I am getting timeout errors. |

Since Gallente pretty much have 100%, you'll only ever get defend orders when you queue Gallente. If Caldari takes a slab, you may be one of the lucky 16 that get the attack order. The queue time for Gallente depends strictly on Caldari's attacking, since Gallente (again) is 100%.

I'm sorry but this wouldn't have happened if people didn't flock to the winning faction for easy wins (I'm not talking at you OP).

Thanks for the responses. They all make sense.
I guess I will have to fight for the enemy. I tried to stay Gallente this long but it it what it is.
I really think rather then sell 3 different FW Boosts that CCP should just sell 1 type so Gallente guys like me don't get screwed.
I guess I will become a true merc here and fight for anyone that needs me. Sorry Gallente....

Heh? Defending or attacking (and % owned) doesn't really matter here does it? The problem is that 90% of the players are queues for gallente and only 10% for Caldari.
Which row would you like to queue up for in the supermarket?

I'm tired of the wait too. I bought the booster and it either takes forever to get into a battle, or the system freezes, or I get DC'd. It sometimes makes me wonder why I continue playing (even though I have fun when I can do things.)
With all the bugs, and changes that they keep doing to suits and weapons the game gets frustrating - not so much for the actions that the other players do even though that adds to the frustration - but because of the programers constant changes that continually break things that you start getting used to having to deal with in the game mechanics.

Well... won't be playing dust for a bit. CCP has a lot bigger bugs to fix. I won't be applying boosters to my profile till next patch. I got suckered with the FW Boosters this time around. Take it from me, don't buy them and save your aurum for other goodies.
Everyone enjoy CCP's 12 Days of Crashes and Glitches for petty goodies and gadgets. If CCP really wants us veteran players to keep playing they need to stabilize the environment and fix these system crashes and overall lag. There will always be bugs and game glitches but if you just can't play the game then the battlefield will be getting a bit dusty from the lack of veteran players which pretty much make up the core players right now.
I found it entertaining to get this huge scripted resolution from CCP to my connectivity issues they think I have. For one I am a veteran developer / IT guy, not like everyone I know but I can assure you most of these issues have to deal with introduced functionality that just needed a bit more testing before getting released. Oh wait, for a free game we become the testers. I forgot about that point so I really can't complain about playing a buggy free game right? Also, I have a 50up/50down connection going through my home and this is the only game that lags and disconnects me. So go figure?
I know this looks like a cheap bash but these are real issues that I know CCP is trying to address and fix. I still like the game but things are bit too crazy as we all know. I will be back for 1.8 and see if things improved. Otherwise, I will be buzzing around in space for a bit on the EVE side.
Good luck out there fellow mercs. o7
