I am a channel owner and creator of an =EvE= side channel that was created 10 years ago and followed me into 0.0 space. I now use this channel in =DUST514=
Background
This channel is used as a key and pivotal part of my gameplay, both for squad fill and looking for squad, many others that are a proud member of this channel also use it for this purpose.
The channel reqularly turns into LOCAL for several hours a day due to population.
I proudly host the very first =DUST 514= Radio here.
It is a weekly, hour long, talkback radio program named -¦PAYDIRT-¦ that attracts on average 80 + channel members, both new and re-attending.
The feedback from my channel is positive, the purpose and role of the channel is positive. The additional attraction of -¦PAYDIRT-¦ and the feedback regarding this is amazing.
Most of these members are very protective of such a channel. Most are amazing players and great clones, a great mix.
Then there is a problem.
Problem
The dramatic affect one agressive clone has on a large group, and my lack of moderation 'tools' to address this.
I lack the ablity to remove this member from channel.
This has been an ongoing issue for weeks and the channel is experiencing a huge decrease in attendance of members that are all close friends due to one players abussive and agressive comments in channel.
Remedy
=Dust 514= Channel side administration tools
A) For DUST created channels
B) For EvE created channels
1. Remove character
2. Ban character for period of time
3. Ban Corporation
4. Ban Alternate characters
5. Channel permissions
a. READ ONLY
b. VOICE ONLY
c. ADMIN VOICE ONLY RECIEVE ALL
d. Primary and Secondary channel roles and access rights
Deployment Assessment:
Duplicate channel administration that is currently aviable =EvE= side.
Selectable list options and check boxes that is currently aviable in SQUAD SETTINGS
Searchable BAN parameters so they do not need to be added to contact list, as currently aviable in INVITE PLAYER CHANNEL.
Request
The ability to post support tickets regarding roles and channel rights. IE: I have an =EvE= channel that I am using in =DUST 514= could the above named character gain channel administration rights for channel.
Final
This administration is both needed for the purposes written, but also for ALLIANCE, FACTIONAL, QUE-Sync and Secure Corporation Channels, as such their uses of such abilitys regarding chanek administration are not outlined in this request, however are very similar.
