The logisuit is far too versatile and strong. It can out-assault assaults and sometimes go toe to toe with heavies, all while carrying a ton of equipment.

Progress! laser rifle doesnt reign supreme what u meant to say is rr..and cr reign supreme and the fotm continues why use suits when ccp gave us nice shiny op as hell tanks that cost next to nothing

You forget running suits like that is expensive, even loosing an advanced suit more than four times in a match puts you in the negative and besides that you also got to have the skillpoints to correctly fit it out. Gallente logis are a bit op though as they can use more cpu and pg for weaponry, I mostly use basic or advanced weaponry . So as far as I am concerned logi's are not op and you actually see them less and less. True logis are even harder to find actually.
