As someone who used REs probably before King Thunderf*cker started playing DUST (Early beta), I can confirm they DO NOT have a limited range. In fact, I have sniped with them before. Go ahead, try it. Go to Manus Peak (preferably on the side where you have a perfect view of the Alpha console), place an RE across the map, and go back to your side, and redline snipe. Then, if the objective you set your RE on starts getting hacked, blow them up.

I've play tested this, as a Chromosome demolitions expert, and Learning Coalition instructor. There is no limit to range on REs, and if there is, it's bigger than any of the current maps.

I used that comparison, because my friends little brother is around 8 years old, and we tried explaining Algebra to him.

It was at that point we realized how complex algebra can be.

"X is a number. It can be any number. But when put into an equation, you can "solve" for x. For that equation, x has a set value, and by manipulating the equation, you can determine what x is.

We go him to solve for x for the equation 3= 2 + X (Yes, he got 1)

However, when we did the next problem, he was stumped. "How can x be different? It was 1 in the last one!"
