1. forge guns decrease the charge time by at least 50% with tanks having increased speed we need a shorter time too charge in order for us to hit them before they retreat.
2. instead of swarm launchers flying out horizontally and then going to target let them fly straight to the target when they are shot, also introduce a change the assault variant to dumb fire being able to lock onto multiple targets is stupid and it screws up my targeting
3. allow us to carry more av gernades instead of 3 make it 5 they only can kill vehicles so infantry people can't cry |

A slight buff 50% lol that would let the assault variant fire each shot in less than a second with max skills lol slight lol maby 10 but not 50%

the manner in which swarms fire is fine maybe a buff in damage by say 30% would be good. No to dumbfire swarms , if you don't know why then wou haven't been here long enough ( they were once dumb fire but weret too good as anti infantry )

lol just no just plain no av nades are ment to be a deterent not a viable av wepon , if you gave everyone 5 avnades then all ground based vehicles would be useless .

I don't think you know what a "slight buff" is TC.
Double the forge gun's DPS.
Completely change the swarms and make them an anti-infantry weapon again.
Make AV grenades a main AV weapon again.
Those are your "slight" buffs

50%!! Are you high? CCP nerfed them because of their insane DPS, and you want to increase it by like 50% of 1.6 levels?

Id revert the std FG charge time but level the Assault. Sorry but I really hated FGs charging so quickly(as a ground soldier)
Add more missiles to the assault swarm(suggested by someone else) and increase range for assault swarms by 45 meters. increase the dmg to 280 on the normal swarms and leave the range as it is.
I don't know what to do about AV nades. I hate not being able to kill LAVs with 3 packed AV. Maybe increase the dmg slightly.

Infantry cries for tank changes, and they don't like them. Tell them to use vehicles, they complain, and use cars anyway

We can all jump in tanks and no one hacks points lol! I didn't hear the man complain about tanks, but I did hear him ask for balance. Something that I'm learning this community doesn't advocate. Tanks got buffed while anti tank got nurfed? Clearly! I know tankers who did well before 1.7. Now every joe with legs is tanking lol! And who has time to wait on hardners? He's changing the battle tempo now! |

Here are some better suggestions:
1. Increase the projectile speed of the Plasma Cannon. The prototype PLC has less damage than a proto packed AV grenade, and travels slower than you can throw one.
2. Slightly bump up the DPS - either through damage, AoE effects, or something else - of the PLC
3. Change Anti Vehicle WP rewards for all non-tank sources to reward damaging a tank and forcing it to retreat, while heavily rewarding destroying the vehicle. If tanks should be the *best* way of destroying tanks (which I can agree with), them infantry AV should be rewarded for forcing tanks to flee
4. Add a cool down for deploying and recalling vehicles.
5. Do not allow recalling and then redeploying a tank with the same chassis to refresh any health, not reset any cool downs

Probably because Tanks are a good sounding board. Every form of AV works on them. You can't balance proxies, RE's or AV grenades against dropships, and LAV's just got a rebalance.
It won't be perfect, but it's a good place to start.

I call a new tank is for change to different weapon or body and you now not allow me to do so so what can i do if i meet another tank with anti tank turret
Real tanker would get off their tank untill their tank blow up, although not much people can blow up their tank.

Snip At that point I think it would be time to retire the breach and assault variants from the game. Which might not be so bad since the Devs could finally hunker down on finding a proper DPS.

Decrease forge gun charge time by 50%? I think you fail to see the huge impact this will have. Being able to pop off 4 shots in 6 seconds is very OP.
The Forge Gun nerf went hand in hand with the Tank changes.
Let the tankers have their fun.

I think he meant situational type recalling like if he's in a blaster tank and spots a rail off in the distance so he recalls and deploys a rail fit, from what I guessed he's concerned your idea wouldn't let him do that. |

It's a shame that people play on their bias towards a class or weapons or even the game play of Dust 514 in it's self . People talk about flaws and problems in-game and they get crucified , people make off the wall suggestions and the get lauded .
No wonder this game is so screwed up but I just can't understand why CCP is going along and allowing it for what ..???.. to get people who have NO real stake or attachment to this game ??? Just to get numbers and money ...???... because they dam sure aren't getting any better ratings and the numbers are dwindling and with the next patch of spring games on the horizon , Dust will be hard pressed to compete if THE RIGHT changes are not made and soon .
Most are already planning in anticipation .

As a plasma cannon user I already find the forge gun to be OP easy mode. 50% faster charge time would make it even more laughably so.
