They have NO place in this game!!
All they do is destroy my tank from halfway across the ******* map.
Who thought it would be a good idea to have so many of them too? they're EVERYWHERE
Only player actions should be able to cost you ISK! It's not fair that we all have to put up with losing ISK because of something which isn't even a player! it's a robot!!! |

Note that they're targetting you from across the map doesn't mean they should be completely removed. ATM there's a system where if you give the Railgun something to aim at (Get in, find a tank from across the map, shoot at it and hit it once) then you can get out and the Railgun will continue firing at said thing. That, or it just bugged when I tested it.

Eventually remove map installations for installations we can call in ourselves.

This I could get behind. Otherwise anyone who complains that anything kills their tank too easily right now seriously, in a way perhaps not before seen here, needs to HTFU. You cannot be serious.

Rail turrets are fun to use. I'm thinking of speccing into turrets at some point (the turrets tree works for instillations too, right?).

I'll go you guys one better...
1. Keep the installations but cut their number by approximately 50% ...same for supply and CRUs. All at STD level (same as we have now). 2. The defending side starts with all installations blue 3. Put an SP sink into installations for turrets, CRU, and depots with std, adv, proto levels...no militia. 4. Make them a significant ISK cost, they come down "pre-loaded" blue.
Notes...higher level installations have longer hack times, better AI for turrets, increased number of clones for CRU, higher nano cluster limits and suit changeout limits for supply depots. |

No, they should stay. I think they're hilarious. Especially when I meet that missile installation that spends the game shooting at a wall, turns, one-pops an infantry, then turns to resume shooting at the wall.

lets be fair you can farm them too easily before they get hacked. too easy WP's for the FOTM
IMO buff installation HP's by 5x's
neutral turrets should respond to aggression.
remove large blaster turrets on tanks so that more than one player wil be required to affectively kill infantry.

feck me at least you can take a few hits. try being on a scout and having a blaster turret swipe you dead. or on a heavy and getting 1 shot by a rail.
