I am trying out the role without wasting SP on my main. If I like it then I'll skill into in my main. I'm just being anal about SP spending more than anything... For what it's worth I am now playing much sneakier on my main logi dude and as such am generally a little more OP than usual. Proto scans, reps, and hives with a side of FLANK STEAK FTW. (Shotty/SMG/Flux/Cardiac Regulator) Mostly for snatching key objectives at the onset, or to hack - far away from zerg stomp. With shotguns semi-fixed now, I really want to go back to my Chromosome era ShottyScout. (Dem speedies, bruh.) But that AR/PLC Commando is looking kinda awesome (in theory) So, I'm just bankrolling SP til 1.8 to see what took them a full year of work to put into racial dropsuits. Alyssa Milano.

Phazoid The Unholy Legion Of DarkStar DARKSTAR ARMY 202	Posted - 2013.12.26 19:50:00 - [37] - Quote well let me congratulate you on trying the light suit, but let me remind you of a thing, first you are using militia stuff, and while militia still kills, its not expensive or effective, skill into Scout suits, and right now you may have the time of your life, but you will get raped eventually, there are issues with the scout suit, for example not enough cpu and pg, and the fact that if you fight against people with half a brain they will kill you, but enjoy the speed, and hope you survive, also many guys who posted here are scouts that put me to SHAME, and im a decent-ish scout Dragons don't have friends. The nearest we can get to the idea is an enemy who is still alive.

You just can't put that much trickery, deviousness and rabid hatred in one place and not expect to absolutely show people the bottom of a six foot hole over and over again. It's especially fun when you've got half the scouts who are aggressive, merciless flankers disrupting the enemy and the other half are the stealthy, infiltrating assassins allowing no safe haven for folks outside the redline.... Anyway, happy to squad up with scouts anytime; new and old, full-time or 'tourists'....

I haven't played with you in awhile Family is visiting.. Hard to play as it is! Just been doing solo runs off chat. Gäó night I'll be back in full force! There seems to be some really bad input lag lately. I keep crouching for no reason, and I slooooooooow down anytime someone near me fires at me. It's making knifing pretty difficult ATM. I was glad ozarow pointed out the bug with knives and sprinting. It was driving me crazy and couldn't put my finger on it.

I would never condescend to give scout tips after a few days running the role. I can imagine how that would be annoying.. lol Status Update: So my new little scout is at about 800,000 SP. I've just about capped out. I've managed a 2.67 KDR over the course of the cap and made just under 10 million ISK. All with militia gear. Nothing amazing but a decent farmer alt. And lots of fun too. I would have easily had a much higher KDR but my old logi/assault roots got me killed alot. I have to remember to never run into the same situation twice. Constantly flank. And I have to get a little better aiming with the shot gun. But all in all pretty fun stuff. I will say I feel sorry for you scouts SP wise. The SP required to get kin cats, remotes, shotgun, and knives is ridiculous. Not to mention the fitting reqs. and just basic core skills. Quite a lot to ask to get a decent fit running. I will play with the militia suit but I tend to go all out. I didn't go Gallente because I'd be tempted to slow it down with armor. I want to be a blur. With any luck I'll get it skilled up by the time they give the scout suits (and speed tanking in general) a good buff!
