This isn't a troll thread. I am currently in santa fe, new mexico visiting my folks for christmas.I just went outside to smoke a cigg and brought my tablet with me to browse the dust forums. I glanced at the Santa few mountains and there was two extremely bright stars which I hadn't ever seen before. I kept watching them and a third light appeared forming a triangle with the other two. I brought up Google sky map on my tab and saw there were no stars where the three lights were. I tried taking a picture but they were too far away for my camera to pick it up.
I stayed watching them for about 2 minutes when the second light dissapeared. I ran to my room to get a pair of WW2 binoculars, when I had returned the third light had also dissapeared. Leaving the light at the top of the triangle. It was extremely bright, about 3x brighter than other stars in the sky, glowing every color I have seen. Oh and the second and third looked flat rather than circular.
Having just watched independence day I'm a little freaked out, especially because this isn't the first object in the new mexico skies that I can't explain. Anyway I just had to tell someone and since its 5Am here I turn to the dust forums |

I tried but I didnt have a camera have a camera that could pick them up, just showed up as black. I understand being skeptical, in fact when I saw the first two I thought they were just really bright stars until the third one showed up. |

There is a squadron of blackhawks stationed at the Santa few airport but no jets. Kirkland AFB is down in Albuquerque white sands is much further south. They weren't moving when they dissapeared, they just glowed dimmer then were gone. |

Without being too sceptical, I'm sure you do believe you've seen 'aliens' ... but come on, seriously !
Jupiter is actually below the horizon for me. I checked sky map and didn't see any stars where the lights were. I can't say for sure but I'd estimate they were roughly 2500m above the mountains. Not sure if it was aleins, but they were defiantly ufos.
