Remember a few build ago when lav can just murder taxi and everyone went proto av, but because of everyone getting proto av tanks became very weak now CCP ideas was to reduce the cost and increase HAV ehp as well as lowering av dmg now the only to effectively kill a mlt tank is with a proto forge and when everyone get a forge gun the process begin again.

I have a proficiency 5 proto forge gun. Unless you go on a tower (which is scrubby so I don't) it's much less effective versus a militia tank than a militia rail tank is. So no, hardly anybody is going to put SP into forge guns when they can use militia tanks instead. They might also put SP into tanking skills, so tank spam will probably get worse rather than better until CCP rebalance. |
