It really does irk me that people like you think you're so damn justified, hurting other people to gain your own advantage is WRONG no matter how you slice it..... I honestly hope that a lawsuit gets filed against you for this, which is very possible. I love this game and if there is a bunch of legal crap ruining the development, then A LOT of other people are just as hurt........
LOL yea you got your 10$ back aw, some people have spent hundreds on this game and will spend more, they like this game they just want to play it. To see it be destroyed will hurt them more than it hurt the chump change you put in.
Good day sir, i hope you get banned from this game and i never have to see your name in the forums again.
I did spend hundreds on this game you fool....or I guess im the fool for spending hundreds on this crap game...

I honestly hope that your account gets banned for this. But they stolen nothing from you, CCP refunded your BPO purchase(s) and you have the same exact value that you did BEFORE you purchased the BPO(s). You effectively stolen from CCP by having Sony refund you $10, which of course is going to be billed to CCP.
you and I differ in opinion on this.
I don't think the aur is worth what it was and I think you know the argument behind that, but you chose to blind yourself to its logic so I wont bother repeating the rebuttal to your flimsy stance in this thread.
but regardless of who is right, sony seems to agree with me, and that's all that really matters here isn't it?
and if they continue to refund and (hopefully) bill ccp then you may have to find another game to blindly devout yourself to like some fundamentalist (insert religion here)
and what really matters even more to me than who's right or whats gonna happen to dust is that I got what I wanted

I explained the blue print system, how everything else is consumable, including all other items bought with aurum which can only be purchased with real money, how blueprints are no longer available, how we were promised our bpo's would not be touched, all of the unfolding history after that, and how the community's confidence in the worth of aurum is gone which , like any other currency de values it, how bpo's are no longer available, making yet again that currency worth less since the same standard of item is no longer available, and how they have even done this type of thing to their consumable aur items (contact nades) in the past....
that's as close to verbatim as you gonna get form me...
they issued the credit, took 7 days or so to investigate it and I got an email, part of which I posted above.... and I can confirm the money is on my account at this moment.

The BPOs were not stolen, there is literally no other way to look at it - any claims to the contrary are either lies or just stupid. Plus y'know, the EULA, also known as the legally binding contract you signed - I suggest you read it next time.
Angry rant over, hardly a literary masterpiece as it's around 3am for me right now - In conclusion, regardless of whether the claims in the OP are even true, go f**k yourself OP - you miserable, overly entitled, petty bastard.

Hmm... interesting. Looks like you did this the easy way and actually answered my question. Now compare yourself to Yelsha who has yet to answer my question about his own case. What's funny here is that all you did was make a simple phone call to Sony to get your $10. But Yelsha for some reason decided to go take this to some British civil court which doesn't cost him anything but obviously cost quite a bit of taxpayer money.
I doubt the validity of yelsha but I wont bash him since he is on my side of the fence in this battle...
I actually called them 10 days before the patch and had a ticket opened. then shortly after the patch (a few days) I called them back, gave the ticket number and spent about 30 min explaining this and answering questions.
one question the operator asked me was, comparing this to diablo, since he doesn't play dust, if aur was like the use of gold vs the real money market or some such ( I didn't play diablo on PC so I don't know the finer points of it) but the meat of his question was can I get aur just by playing or is it exclusively a real money transaction.
I informed him it was the latter, I also made it clear that the bpo's in question were NOT part of a package that they could only be bought on the in game dust market but only by using aur that must be purchased through psn, and that I specifically bought the aur for bpo's so an aur refund was no good since I could no longer get a bpo with aur. I refered to it as a bait and switch tactic.

So really the AUR is not entirely worthless. Also, does this mean that $10 worth of AUR was removed from your account since now you got $10 worth of PSN Store Credit given to you? I mean, that can only be fair since you see that AUR is useless to you.
I just logged in for the first time in about a week to check.... its still there.... guess it was just a courtesy on sony's side?
just shows what trash ccp is imo, sony just earned a lot of respect from me....

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion just yet. CCP does have access to that AUR of yours. It could be that they were nice enough to let you keep it despite the fact that you got your PSN store credit from Sony. Who knows?
well judging by their interactions with the community so far and the fact my main has been banned 2x now for BS, I doubt it.
no im sure ccp had nothing to do with this, I am surprised I still have my aur, little good it is anyway since I wont be playing...
