If you really got the refund then all i can say is that you deserve it and thanks for informing us that you managed to get your rights respected
I personally have opened a Ticket about this since Early November when I was aware of this shady move by CCP. It took them 20 DAYS to respond, they said they would see what they can do about my request to get the BPOs EXCHANGED for other BPOs still in game. The Ticket is still open and it's been open for almost 2 months.
Gratz on the OP for getting it sorted out within 7 Days and with a FULL Cash Refund And as my New Years Resolution, If CCP don't take into consideration my TICKET which has been open for around 2 MONTHS , I think i'll do the same.

Well it appears that Sony have more consideration for us than CCP think and their EULA, this is mainly due to the fact that CONSUMER LAWS Protect us against SHADY DEALING which CCP have IMPLEMENTED in their ways of doing business towards their Clients as in Supporters, those of us which INVESTED REAL MONEY in their project.
I personally tried hard to reach an Agreement with CCP, I asked them to EXCHANGE my BPOs which were being removed for 1 BPO Dropsuit which was still in game since I didn't wish to have an AUR refund forced upon me , I PAID Real Money just to obtain the BPOs in question and they said they do not intend to do this. CCP openly stating to me that I should contact Sony if I expect a CASH REFUND.
The last message from CCP to me in an Open Ticket was: "Should you wish to peruse cash alternatives than I can only suggest that you contact SONY PSN as CCP have no access to customer payments for DUST 514.

Well this is exactly what I did and I too within 7 Days gained a Refund directly from Sony.

No that person isn't a whatever you consider them because he as a CONSUMER/CLIENT/SUPPORTER invested real cash into this project as I did to sustain CCP. This is why we have Consumer Laws which protect EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US, well at least in Europe.
So if you don't like what he did, as in stand up for his rights as I did also , then this really is your OWN PROBLEM if you like getting pushed around in REAL LIFE, I personally FIGHT for EVERYTHING I love and own and use EVERYTHING in my power to protect myself from such SHADY DEALINGS as that used by CCP. Then again the world is full of losers and tryhards, people which have no idea what rights they have and constantly take it from behind, yet some of us have ballz of steel and stand our ground especially when we know we are rights.
Peac3 I hope one day you'll grow some ballz too and protect your rights.

What i'm sure of is that Sony recognise Consumer Rights and provide refunds due to this reason. Another thing I am sure of based upon my Open Ticket which took CCP 20 Days to respond....is that CCP had no reason whatsoever to refund their clients/consumers/supporters/players/PAYERS on an equal level. CCP don't appear to agree on Customer Satisfaction, thus the reason they wished to FORCE their own form of refund, which is TOTALLY ILLEGAL BY CONSUMER LAWS.

Is that why ccp went out of their way to advertise packs that contained bpo's and told us to "get them before they're off the market"? Doesn't seem very "discouraging" to me. Also to all you people who defend ccp by crying "EULA": the EULA isn't considered legal in all countries. So it Doesn't matter if you signed or agreed to something as a consumer, because if it's not recognised by the laws of the country you live in, then any kind of contract is automatically void. ^ THIS

Oh please BRING iT ON I was fair enough to ask only for a PARTIAL Refund and CCP should THANK me for this , cause I was honest enough to only request a refund based upon the amount spent to obtain said BPOs removed, a sort of "Moral Damages" Refund. The FACT is that Sony was actually willing to provide me a FULL REFUND = EVERY PACK PURCHASED for DUST
