Oh man, this is just gold. I'm laughing at the OP right now.
OK, CCP. When are knives finally going to be improved?

I'm curious. What exactly did you tell Sony? And I mean "verbatim". I want to understand the full context of how you approached Sony and somehow convinced them that CCP stole from you. And if you're any better than Yelsha "what's-his-name", you'll be able to answer my question.

And if you're any better than Yelsha "what's-his-name", you'll be able to answer my question. I explained the blue print system, how everything else is consumable, including all other items bought with aurum which can only be purchased with real money, how blueprints are no longer available, how we were promised our bpo's would not be touched, all of the unfolding history after that, and how the community's confidence in the worth of aurum is gone which , like any other currency de values it, how bpo's are no longer available, making yet again that currency worth less since the same standard of item is no longer available, and how they have even done this type of thing to their consumable aur items (contact nades) in the past.... that's as close to verbatim as you gonna get form me... they issued the credit, took 7 days or so to investigate it and I got an email, part of which I posted above.... and I can confirm the money is on my account at this moment.
Hmm... interesting.
Looks like you did this the easy way and actually answered my question. Now compare yourself to Yelsha who has yet to answer my question about his own case.
What's funny here is that all you did was make a simple phone call to Sony to get your $10. But Yelsha for some reason decided to go take this to some British civil court which doesn't cost him anything but obviously cost quite a bit of taxpayer money.

I refered to it as a bait and switch tactic.
Hmm. I see.
But technically there are still other options available such as consumable gear and boosters that you can still use the refunded AUR on. So really the AUR is not entirely worthless. Also, does this mean that $10 worth of AUR was removed from your account since now you got $10 worth of PSN Store Credit given to you? I mean, that can only be fair since you see that AUR is useless to you.

For the record, only FOUR specific BPOs were removed. The rest are staying. Besides, it will be a technical headache for CCP to do otherwise with the others since some of the BPOs were purchased directly with cash such as the 'Templar' suits and others like the 'Toxin' AR and SMG, etc. Remember the closed-beta merc packs?
Also, they were not really borderline P2W. They were just a risk to the stability of the future economy.

I just logged in for the first time in about a week to check.... its still there.... guess it was just a courtesy on sony's side? just shows what trash ccp is imo, sony just earned a lot of respect from me....
I wouldn't jump to that conclusion just yet. CCP does have access to that AUR of yours. It could be that they were nice enough to let you keep it despite the fact that you got your PSN store credit from Sony. Who knows?

Regardless, you now have two options.
Either...
A) Delete your account and never play this game again.
or
B) Just leave your character in cold storage slowly accumulating SP passively and come back a few years from now to see how much Dust has improved.

Ok, this thread has really devolved into a completely nonconstructive and nonproductive discussion. This is why topics like this should be locked. It causes people to act out in very irrational ways.

That's an awesome $10 scam you pulled on CCP, congrats!
I hope you get banned so hard, that your children will not be able to enter New Eden. Because obviously you will not leave. You don't have balls to. You will stay here and continue to poison this community, like the rest of the self entitlement movement. DIAF. The refund isn't worth anything if the currency has no worth left.
But the currency still technically has worth. You can still use the refund on other things like boosters and consumable gear. Of course it would be a whole lot better if Dust mercs had access to vanity items like what we have for Eve Online's Noble Exchange store.

Honestly, OP. I feel you need to petition CCP to remove the $10 worth of AUR that is on your character. You got your $10 PSN Credit, so it's only fair that the amount of AUR similar to that value should be removed from said character. Otherwise you're technically cheating off of CCP.
I know. I know. You feel that CCP cheated you too, but two wrongs don't make a right.
