And if you got hit with an AV grenade then you clearly weren't paying attention to your surroundings and deserved to die. Well, I think they were abit too much, but I think the nerf went too far. They were fine because they had the highest CPU/PG cost of any grenade and also reduced effectiveness as any infantry soldier considering how devastating Core locus grenades are and how useful fluxes are. A properly fit tank still took over 5 to destroy which means you had to get behind the tank and drop a nanohive which has a very distinctive activation sound which proper tankers actually listened for. |

6 seconds into the city, I get hit with 8 packed grenades that were thrown from 5 people. Over walls, from well behind cover, two from a rooftop. 3 of them exploded on my burning wreckage from the first 5.
Yeah, it definitely wasn't OP to have the most damaging AV weapon also be the only one that can be used from well behind cover, over walls, or just dropped in the street to wait for a tank like a better version of an PE.
so you had to get within 30 meters of a tank.with cover(or really any city map that had a wall) you were effectively immortal, that close to my tank, and you had enough punch to destroy my tank, while I couldn't touch you.
So sorry that your grenade is no longer the best AV weapon in the game by light-years. So if CCP introduced a dropsuit that comes with a weapon that at militia and standard levels destroys every type of infantry and vehicles with ease and requires 3 prototype players specifically skilled to just take out that dropsuit and by skilling into this dropsuit's counter they then are almost useless against other infantry, making the best counter the same suit. Yup that sounds like balance Oh and also its only twice as expensive as full proto equipment logis suits which can cost up to 300k |

I tried to use a less politically correct term the the censors wouldn't allow it. You do know the AR is on par with the weapons right? Just not as much range (I'm guessing you haven't used the AR since 1.6) I have Proficiency 5 in AR and have used it since the Creodron Breach reigned supreme, I have no proficiency in the SCR, RR, or CR and they all kill faster than my duvolle. |

During E3 build of closed beta when we had Sagaris and Suryas I was full time AV proto swarms and proto SMG and I finished the build #1 on the leaderboards in Warpoints because I was a damn good AV player, hacked objectives, and destroyed with the SMG. Or jackasses who abuse the FOTM spamming the crap out of MLT tanks(which, even real tankers are agreeing are far to strong for no investment)
