The first thing I would do would be to get your biotics to level 5, now you have a speed bonus that is like wearing a catalyzer.

Next get scout suit 3, profile dampening 4, now you beat advanced and basic scanners passively. For scouts its all about speed and stealth, that is your survivability, not hp.

The only time I would consider plates on a scout would be the proto gallente scout, because it has 4 low slots.

In chromosome you had to run an armor repair because you couldn't rely on just your shields, but I could still see it functioning...just haven't tried it in a while. It requires a pure avoidance of the enemy though. Maybe a short/medium range weapon for insurance, but man it's just a completely different experience from the regular logi stuff. Thanx bud Al My core skils are lvl 5 ( dampening/enhancement/amp/biotic/cardiac/kinetic al the shield and armor at lvl 5, system hacking at obly at lvl 3=ƒÿÅ) As a logi al my equipment are lvl 5 also ( scaners, uplinks, hives etc etc ) Having a blast putting this into the scouting. I love it so proto gallante sqout here I come have 100 qufe to burn and 300 aur proto to burn ( remember the 75 % sale they had =ƒÿ£) Logi going sqout over and out Edit 300 aur not 500

Uplinks and RE's with complex kin cats. Now since uprising i speced into min logi , base skills and proto kin cats. ' My usual opening suit on a PC battle is proto logi with 4 complex kin cats. and 3 active uplinks +REs it runs fast stamina is a problem but does the job on the home point. NOW i run advanced min scout. it works well. mixing it up with profile dampening kin cats and hack mods in the low slots usually uplink or RE's as the equipment. I have to double the suits. because i cant make a good fit with a advanced logi with speed. I REALLY MISS THE SCOUT WITH 2 equipment slots. ++One of my favorite fits now is Minmatar advanced scout shield extender complex sidearm dmg modifier sub machine gun advanced nova knifes enhanced profile dampener basic profile dampener ++and for quick uplinks basic min scout suit basic precision enhancer flayloc pistol r-9 uplinks complex kin cat enhanced kin cat. Basically started juggling the kin cats and uplinks. basically wanting at least 2 active uplinks with the left over CPU/PG i could only fit a flayloc (no PG usuage) I'm not a logi. I'm an insurgent.

Also, I have a proto runner suit with 3 complex KinCats and a green pill, but that's mainly just used at the start of matches to get quickly into the action. Other than that, the closest I get to tanking is scan range.

I lead with the pistol to make people flee or take cover. When they think I've left I smoke em with the combat rifle from a different direction. If they chase I re them. Its a casual fit that turns out to be extremely effective near the front line. If you try to ninja everyone at once you will die. Who cares? Its like 14k. There was a time we fought good tankers. Now we just fight good tanks.

You'll be better served by going Lvl 5 in your scout suit & lvl 3 dampening w/ a basic dampener. Since they both give the same bonus. But one grants you 2 skill bonuses & a sweet new Dropsuit you'll barely use, & the other gives you a complex module that you will never use as a scout. Maxing out dampening has virtually no benefit to a scout fit. OT, I still speed tank. Whether I'm droping Uplinks, or chasing a tank, it's that Red & Green cocktail that keeps me going.

I crouch for no reason some times. I run in slow motion sometimes as well. I'll get caught on all kinds of terrain and geometry, I'll jump and slow down mid air. It's extremely sloppy as hell, but I try :)
