The basic idea is that for each module you can extend your time in the enemies redzone by 3 x tier seconds and it would give a +1 bonus seconds in the redzone per level.when skilled into. This, webifires and the cloaking module can be ewar modules/equipment. This is mainly for scouts but I figure if you have to sacrifice damage mods or your tank it' wont be so bad. Making it a high slot would be pretty fitting considering profile dampeners, kin cats and cardiac regulators are low. |

I also agree high slots are the correct place for it.

Well with 4 complex modules you'd be up to a minute but have sacrificed damage and shields in order to get it. On the other hand a scout would have enough time to flip CRU/ supply depots or turrets or just try to flush out reds.

The ScoutGÇÖs not gotten too much love in recent months. What started out as a bullet-strafing monster back in Chromosome has slowly been marginalized as other aspects of the game have been worked on and improved. IGÇÖm happy to say that soon the Scout class should be wholly rejuvenated (or at the very least, be in a much better place). The introduction of cloaking equipment and revamped bonuses should help the Scout find his rightful place in the battlefield hierarchy. To me, the Scout role has always been about creating a disruptive force on the battlefield. HeGÇÖs the guy that can cover enough ground quickly enough to get drop uplinks into the right places (that is, if everyone didnGÇÖt carry one, but more on that later), hack objectives back, disperse squad members (nothing makes people scatter faster than a KC-amped shotgunner) and generally make a nuisance of himself.
The Scout role will get very high PG/CPU bonuses to fitting cloak equipment, making it just about the only role that can feasibly fit a cloak field without having to sacrifice the rest of its fit. Individual race skill bonuses will create opportunities for cloaked scouts to scan further and longer than other dropsuits, to have less GÇ£shimmerGÇ¥ as they move, and have lower innate scan profiles so that they can be visually and electronically invisible. These should help create more useful assassins, intel gatherers, and saboteurs. And in time, the introduction of additional Scout specializations will be added to further push the boundaries of the little Light Suit That Could
Since there already giving a bonus to cloaking modules why not just change it to ewar and turn them into the specialist of dust similar to ghost in starcraft. |

it would actually be a good idea to counter redline sniping and redline tanking....
a scout with a speed modules and this kind modules could be dropped out of a dropship onto the place where the redline snipeer is hiding and gunned him to the face. Logi stacked with this kind of module could be dropped behind a rail_tank.....remotes and boom he is out

That was for a different reason though, for the most part the only people in the MCC these days are people that have been redlined so hard that it's the only way to stay alive 5 seconds.

90% of pub matches right now end up with one side redlined already. This would just make it worse. People would ragequit the entire game and never look back because of something like this.

I'm thinking it would be only possible for non scouts to have 1 complex or 2 advanced but scouts can fit them due to an ewar bonus. I'm not saying everyone should be able to be in the enemy redzone for a minute, in fact I don't expect more than 2 complex being put on a scout with the bonuse unless it's a caldari scout (CPU + high slots seems to be a caldari thing) |

Currently you cannot deploy equipment in the red. It fizzes out. Make that change also and I'm with you OP.

When the redlined team is just sitting in the MCC an option/vote to retreat should be given 60% to pass and forfeit |

I seriously went into the redline, killed 5 people, went back, licked my wounds and got back to the fight. 20 seconds is a bunch of time.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.
