What methods do you guys use to take on vehicles? I have a few for solo play that work well, but I'd like to do so without having to kill myself in the process.
For tanks, the methods I use consist of:
-Load a STD Light Frame with Swarms, REs, and AV nades. Sneak up on tank and stick some REs on. If the tanker is stupid, you could easily plant 4 or more REs, but if they're smart, they'd recognize the sound and retreat by the second one placed. However in both scenarios, the tanks retreat will queue you in for AV nades. Chase it down and chuck 3 at it, rush it head on rather than running to the side, and let off one good volley of Swarms. If done right, you will have died (blaster tanks) and the tanker should have activated the hardeners. At this point, load up the same suit upon respawn, wait about 30 seconds, and detonate your REs. If the tanker did not recall his or her vehicle, the REs should be enough to finish it off while the hardeners are down.
-If skilled into at least ADV REs, put them on a STD Logi Suit. Call in an LAV at the beginning of a match. Attach your REs to it and drive to your redline supply depot to switch out to a STARTER FIT. Get in your LAV and proceed to hunt down tanks. Be sure to press down on the directional pad to bring up the map to first scan the area of enemy tanks. After locating them, take the route that does not inhibit your LAV from reaching top speed and Jihad Jeep your way into victory.
  Against Dropships:
-Forge Guns are your best bet for infantry. Sometimes, a well fitted DS will be hard to snipe down on your own but Derpships will always be Derpships. They are easy kills.
  Against LAVs:
-Why bother with them? They're not big enough of a threat to warrant a dedicated AVer to stay on their tails.

So, what methods do you all use? I am aware that coordinated AV play is crucial in this build, but soloing vehicles is still very much possible to do. |

try to ambush him with another person, provoke module use then get someone else to hit him when they go on cooldown. (ADS are very good at this role)

I just played a game where I was at an objective and alone against a tank. I just slowly walked behind this square piece of cover. We circled it forever. I could tell he was getting angry because he would rush to one side, then the other, then slowly creep, like I couldn't see him and then rush to the other side again. It was ridiculous and I loved it.
...until an infantry came and killed me.

i was trying to kill a maddy in my python, but his near perma hardener and reps meant i couldn't break though his tank, so i took to teasing him, lowering myself into view on one side, then moving across to the other before he could hit me, this went on for a couple of minutes, with this tanker trying furiously to hit me, ignoring the rest of the match. however after he clipped me with a rail shot i had to bug out and repair, just to see him come hurtling into the redline in an effort to kill me, he failed and i was content to know that i had annoyed a tanker enough for him to risk the redlines wrath in an attempt to destroy me.

If fighting a noob tanker with a Militia Tank, have one friendly with a Swarm launcher, have another with an Assault Forge Gun, and you have AV grenades. Lure the tanker into an open space, whilst having the Forge Gunner and Swarm Launcher hide. Once the tanker is far enough in to where you want him to be (so he can't just quickly escape around the corner), and pop him with a few AV grenades while your friendlies hit him with a Forge Gun and Swarms.

Use a scout suit to plant remotes on the sweet spot, tanks have a little spot where hits cause extra damage. On shield tanks its the little powerbox thing on the very back put 3 remotes on that lob all your av nades and plasma cannon it as it scuttles away is a kill 9 times out of 10. The sweet spot on an armour tank is, well my alt uses armour tanks so I am not advertising that one lol.
