 So far, only got to play two matches with them.
 
 1. Lost it to a redline railgun turret. for some odd reason, my shield boost did not activate, but went on CD anyways.
 
 2. First dropship to dropship combat: Resounding success got lucky and killed his gunner with a single missile(yeah, not going to pretend that was skill) and later he ran into the ground and died. Lost it to the redline. tunnel visioned and shot down a standard dropship with the same pilot. Oddly enough, I exploded a full 3 seconds before it finished counting down.
 
 Conclusion: They could use just a tiny bit more HP/fittings, Shield boosters could use a quick look by the devs, and damn do small missiles hit harder than I remember. Also, you need to maintain your angle it you're trying to afterburn to the ceiling, if you just let it, the afterburner's effect will flip you from how much extra thrust is generated.
 
 Needs more data: Going to max out caldari assault, and small missiles, will present more refined findings then.
 
 All current testing conducted with Caldari Python, Solo fit(afterburner, shield booster, shield hardener, I think I have an armor rep for emergencies.). Intended testing: Squad fit(3 missiles, Hardener, Booster, Afterburner, PG boost).

 I would like to see a return of the fitting bonus to skills like vehicle core upgrades, engineering and electronics. I think that would let me fit the python the way I wanted to.
 Might I say welcome to the wonderful (and painful) world of assault dropships. I you have any questions for some experienced pilots join the channel 1st Airborne, a lot of ace pilots hang out there. Good luck with your studies!

 Python is much more convenient than the Incubus because of the missile bonus. Missiles are just boss, and you never have to manage overheat. Just always keep moving and be prepared to break away at a moments notice

 I was pretty active into ADs this build, but I'm currently joining the MLT HAV fad to build ISK while getting SP for missiles.
 
 First off: have you used shield boosters? They don't work the way they used to. Now it's near-instant shields, and a near-instant cooldown. pythons have crazy fast shield regen, though- as fast as old shield boosters.
 
 With afterburners or a hardener on, you're damn near untouchable, but you'll have a hard time dealing significant damage at high speed. At least not with proto rails like I'm using.
 
 Also, from my experience (threw on mlt missiles), an unmolested ADS with both gunners is extremely deadly. Just get in some practice into switching between the unlabeled flight modes. Dropships are more or less VTOL if you know what you're doing.

 swap out that afterburner for a ADV heavy entender, it is the ONLY way to survive

 It did take 3 shots to down me(same as a standard tank) and I activated the booster, but it didn't boost at all. This has happened several times on my tanks as well. It is an annoying bug that typically results in a loss of vehicle.
 
 And never underestimate speedtanking. 4 seconds from the ground to the ceiling, 10 to the enemy redline, and only several billion miles to zanzibar(note, this depends on the location of the planet, and the relative location of earth, pending earth still existing)
 
 and all my piloting experience is with planes(IRL) so these are kind of tricky getting used to. Really wish they would put in the fighters. But that's something for another day.

 I too have noticed the booster bug, most notable against small arms or blasters, seems that if you're hit at the exact moment it's supposed to activate, it instantly nullifies it.

 its easy to shoot out a gunner even more so with a missile (E Z 1 shots).

 Somebody mentioned before in regards to tanks (doesn't matter specifically) that the modules are accidentally switched back off when you go to select the module on the wheel and the joystick (being springy) bounces back and reselects the module, thus deactivating it, before you've let go of the R2.
