Look people, these tanks are not that bad.... in all reality its turned into a cash cow for me. But im a Prof 5 Forge
if your in a squad you have to understand that now in dust there is a HUGE roll called * AV *
I will roll into ambush's and just start out with my Forge, the last match I just played I downed 5 Dropships and 3 SOMA's in 1 OMS
and in most matches I roll out of the MCC with my HMG, waddle around for a bit with the spray and pray and as soon as I start to see RDV's I swap over and clean house of any Tank or Drop ship, normally without any problems.
but that leads me to this, be warned! even some of the best AV role players can be beat. I personally have been out gunned by many of New Edens Best Tankers with there Proto tanks. those things are nasty and for the SP and ISK you put into them you should be.
but why I actually posted this is to just say HTFU people, I got a guy in my corp that hunts tanks with LVL 1 PLASMA CANNON.
yeah no bull ****, I watched him take out 2 SOMAS with a lvl 1 PLASMA CANNON ith no help.
most people who are running these are just people trying out new things or just trying to pad there KDR with a cheap tank that CCP made FUN, and yes CCP made tanks fun. so stop crying because something in the game besides the AR is FUN.
sooooo teach them a leason and BLOW THEM UP, Cost them money, its pretty simple soo all the QQ is unessasary.
if you still cant figure this out hit me up in game I can show ya how to do it, its not that hard,

idk why I even posted this its not going to help anyone, they would all rather come here and complain instead of have fun and try some new strategy

ahh yeah anti tank tank's. another beautiful thing of AV,
if you don't like something find a way to Destroy it,
after I blow up more than 3 tanks, they " Most of the time " tend to stop spawning them.

I will say, when im forging a proto tank it does help to have my corp with atleast 1 swarm guy to help keep pressure on the tank, and get him in panic mode
and ive lost some tank kills to swarms stealing the last little bit of armor in the end of the fight

lol dude my prof 5, 2 comp dam mod, Breach proto Forge nesseled on building, is a lot less noticeable than your rail tank
but yes rail tanks are better AV way more powerful im not comparing,
but just trying to inspire some more people to do some AV to help make some of these scrub ass tankers get bored with it and hang it up.
Leave Tanking to the pro's

Stop generalizing forge guns as the only AV in the Game.

im just using forge for example cause its what I use..... so that I all I know as AV.
