I've dusted off my SCR's, stacked 2 or 3 complex light damage mods on my suit, and have proficieny V in them.
Time to turn the lost to the Lord with a weapon designed and blessed by he himself.

Used Gal Assault even when it was the worst Assault suit.

it also eats through armour just as fast as it does shield and the assault variant does not overheat when the whole magazine is fired. it needs something done to it, nothing major just a slight tweak.

It does not eat through armour 'just as fast as it does shield'. It is a very noticeable difference when engaging armour tankers over shield tankers.
Being armoured does not make you immune to an anti-shield oriented weapon, it just helps to protect you. You dying anyway is not particularly indicative of a problem.
As for the ASCR not overheating... I don't know why the overheat mechanic is in place on it tbh. It's completely insignificant in normal use of the weapon and it's not like it outperforms other rifles by such a margin it needs it (unlike the semi-auto).

I just grinded my way to Prof 5 so I don't think I'm ready to grind complex damage mods AND
the PG/CPU upgrades I'll need to fit more than 1 on my suit. |

Comparatively it is by far the most overpowered rifle of all the rifle variants, which is saying alot considering how much better rifles are than the other weapon classes. This is coming from someone who uses this weapon, its my favourite gun, probably because it is just completely ridiculous. |

Because me talking about the weapon i use being too good is crying about it, no one is interested in balancing this game and its the reason its just sh!t now. Its the reason the Rifles are so much better than the other weapons, its the reason swarms are sh!t, its the reason tanks are so fast, its the reason the HMG went to garbage upon uprising and i could go on all day.
The moment anyone says anything about someone elses thing (or their own in my case here) it is considered crying followed by HTFU or some other drivel. The only reason i think most people aren't complaining about it is because they try it once, find it requires a bit of practice and a decent aim and give up on using it so its not really a common weapon to see, atleast in my experience. I really dont feel that requiring half decent aim is a balancing factoring in the ludicrous damage potential and accuracy at all ranges and if your overheating your just spamming and being careless.
I doubt they will change this weapon so i suppose it doesn't matter as it takes a video or mass rioting for anything to happen, we will just keep screaming WEEEEEEEEEEE!!! whilst standing behind our scramblers 1-2 shotting most people we come across.

Quick scan through this thread ...
One claims that the SR can OHK anything with a charge shot
then another says it's more balanced than other AR variants
weird logic...
I need to work out a funtion to OHK with a TAC AR or the Combat Rifle seen as they are
balanced with the scrambler ....
When are people going to realise that EVERYONE complained about TAC AR
It got 'nerfed' and is now only seen in the hands of skilled shooters
yet the scrambler is as tough as the old TAC with a charge shot capability
no overheat mechanic can balance that, unless you get burnt after every shot that is
