It does not eat through armour 'just as fast as it does shield'. It is a very noticeable difference when engaging armour tankers over shield tankers. Being armoured does not make you immune to an anti-shield oriented weapon, it just helps to protect you. You dying anyway is not particularly indicative of a problem. As for the ASCR not overheating... I don't know why the overheat mechanic is in place on it tbh. It's completely insignificant in normal use of the weapon and it's not like it outperforms other rifles by such a margin it needs it (unlike the semi-auto). Because me talking about the weapon i use being too good is crying about it, no one is interested in balancing this game and its the reason its just sh!t now. Its the reason the Rifles are so much better than the other weapons, its the reason swarms are sh!t, its the reason tanks are so fast, its the reason the HMG went to garbage upon uprising and i could go on all day. The moment anyone says anything about someone elses thing (or their own in my case here) it is considered crying followed by HTFU or some other drivel. The only reason i think most people aren't complaining about it is because they try it once, find it requires a bit of practice and a decent aim and give up on using it so its not really a common weapon to see, atleast in my experience. I really dont feel that requiring half decent aim is a balancing factoring in the ludicrous damage potential and accuracy at all ranges and if your overheating your just spamming and being careless. I doubt they will change this weapon so i suppose it doesn't matter as it takes a video or mass rioting for anything to happen, we will just keep screaming WEEEEEEEEEEE!!! whilst standing behind our scramblers 1-2 shotting most people we come across.
