I had the drop on one guy and then he whips out a scanner.....I let him scan me before I shot him in the face.....hate those things.... Please remember people.....this is just a game....relax, put down the sticks, and go hug somebody...

I would say yes for short range/fast paced shooters like cod or crysis but in games like dust where you can be a long way from your closest enemies, it helps you find someone a lot quicker. Players can also take a lot of damage in dust compared to other games so the opponent will still have a chance to react. The only loadout that should not have it is snipers.
