i agree.
those scrub lords who say isk doesn't balance can finally see how dumb they r.
well mainly increase price on modules and hulls. turrets r fine. O_o

One major issue is hardeners. The fact that you can get a militia hardener is ridiculous. These should be removed and will keep the real guys tanking and the wannabes looking for something else to exploit. Currently any wing nut can buy and fit out a militia tank and go god mode for under 80K. If these required expensive skills like 5x or 6x with requirements of armor or shield to 5 less people would be abusing them.

Or alternatively if CCP really opened the Dust EVE link I could spend 5 Mill to outfit a decent Mining Barge, and produce my own HAV free of charge essentially.

Aside from other armour, an Abrams remains vulnerable to howitzers (nearest equivalent: large blaster/rail turrets), MLRSs (large missile turrets), IEDs (PEs/REs), and advanced anti-tank infantry weapons (forges and swarm launchers). So the 137mil ISK tanks should be vulnerable to everything they are presently vulnerable to, and also swarm launchers  .
I'm actually not joking. If the current tank/infantry imbalance is retained, on the basis that 'ISK is a balancing factor' or 'a tank is a massive metal killing machine that should strike fear into infantry', their price should reflect the actual price of a massive metal killing machine. A single maddy or gunnlogi should cost 137mil ISK or thereabouts. |

u know how unbalanced tht would be. only the richest of corps could afford to use them in pc. u would never see one in a pub again. right now with tht price i couldn't even afford one. let's not even get started into proto tanks now.

That's the price to pay for 'balancing by ISK' or having a 'fear-inducing killing machine'. If you don't like the price, maybe you should be asking for balancing by effectiveness instead. This would mean a 30%+ across-the-board buff for AV. |

The new contract for 680 is for 120 000 and the us army owns the design which is from refinements over 30 years of the m16. Theyused to pay colt 1300 and other countries pay more for new assault rifles. You can't buy one.
Javelin antitank missiles are 150k for launcher and 90k per shot. You need 2 people who can conly carry 2 missiles which might kill 1 tank. Howitzers? Good luck trying to hit 1 tank moving but the game equivalent is an orbital which is free for dust infantry and kills tanks. A heavy weapon like a mortar could be good but hard to kill tanks.
I agree tanks are too cheap. The price was right pre 1.7.

Because when you die and respawn in real life, you have to pay for the Carbine or the Tank out of your own pocket.
