I love 1.7 its a great update. i love that you have severely helped dropships out. it is amazing and i love you guys at CCP for that much needed buff. however dropship on dropship combat, as well as dropship on tank combat just doesn't work. when both vehicles have their harders on neither vehicle can really kill the other one( unless its a railgun tank.)
i don't know exactly what to say, or how this would even be fixed, other than the one idea i have where you would make dropships do increased damage every shot to other dropships, like dropships have a tiny amount of anti resistence. not to a tipping point of a weak dship beating a strong one, but a skillful pilot beats the unskilled pilot.

I think the problem here is just missing roles. Dropships aren't really designed to be anti-air platforms, that's the role of other (NYI) aircraft. |

Here's what they need to do to fix things and make it fun again.....
First buff av a lot
Then I'd kinda be in favor of assault drop ships having either all seats having turrets or having dual small turrets for the pilot If u buff av enough then give assault drop ships a large turret for the pilot(on second thought maybe not......a flying rail tank......shudder) |

The problem isn't with the dropships themselves- it's with the capabilities of small turrets.
While I think small missiles are perfect, small rails and blasters need a buff.

maybe it is just because i'm not using proto small missiles like i used to. but i just feel like something isn't right. Dropships can still get shot down by forge guns, but it's just harder. now a tank can't get shot down as long as it has its resistance, but unfortunately you can dual have dual hardners so that you can always have resistence, and i would hate for dropships to have to suffer from that.
I think it might just have a major part in the camera angle. honestly a bolas only destroys me cause i have no way of actually seeing where it is. i can look at my minimap but that isn't detailed enough. i need a hard visual on the bolas. otherwise WHY THE HELL CAN A BOLAS EVEN KILL US. in a factional warfare a totally think they should. but if you ram a tank into an infantry guy on your own team it doesn't kill them, so why should your bolas kill my dropship when i cannot even see the dang thing comin at me, whearas you can jump out of the way of a friendly tank easily.
