Hello CPM,
Since PS4 and XONE are already in the world market... The "Laser focused on the PS3" seems a little harsh on the playerbase... specially when they are planning their next purchase based on what will be DUST's next platform (like myself)...
So, I know it's not a simple matter, but if DUST is to live 10 years + we can't be on the PS3 forever... specially when in my opinion the hardware is limiting the growth of the game itself...
Would you guys agree with me? How are you CPM dealing with this ?

What we can assume from this, is that there is a strong possibility that it will be breaking into different consoles or even the PC. I would put the probability of the following, based on feelings and chance of success, and not on any observations or information from CCP or the CPM:
PS4: 100% (just have to wait)
XONE: 70%
PC: 30% (if they get around to it, much like the Vita App, we can not assume it will be another version of DUST)

Jenza's being a bit to strict on the nda thing.
While CCP hasn't said anything to us about a Ps4 or Xbox One release...
We have urged them strongly that moving to these platforms if it's at all possible from a technical and/or business standpoint for them to do easily... that they should do it. The console crowd wants dust to be on the next-gen consoles.... and next-gen would allow CCP to do so much more with the game. |
