Why would you be forced at playing tank? Blasters are easy to dodge, and so are tanks.

I'd been putting off purchasing Aurum because I wanted to know what direction this game was going in, 1 day before the 1.7 patch I was about to buy 200k Aurum but I thought that i'd better wait to see what 1.7 was like

After a few games the 1st day I thought .. hmm looks good .. I'll stick it on tomorrow ..

Logged on the following day and it was just constant Tank Spam so I again decided to put it off for another week to see what happened .. a week on and it's the same thing ..

Yes I could skill into tanks and call 1 in to counter tanks but I don't want to be a Tanker and wont be forced to use something I don't have any skills in .. I have AV but it's ineffective and I don't want to spend every single game chasing tanks down ... this is my biggest problem .. even if I take a Tank out within the 1st minute .. they are so cheap another gets called in .. then another .. then another .. then another .. it's incredibly frustrating ..

I've had enough of having to play in a completely different way constantly to how I want to play because of another players choice of role ... so CCP I refuse to spend my time playing DUST chasing after Tanks all game .. I don't want to be forced to be either a Tanker or an AV infantryman .. there are no other roles

Having a couple of Tanks on the enemy team is a distraction and it's good to have diversity on the battlefield however when there are so many of them that you can't kill them it goes from a nice distraction to the focal point of the entire game .. I dont want to play World of Tanks

So instead of buying Aurum I'm going to buy a new game for my PS4 instead .. maybe 2

I haven't played for a week and tbqh I don't think I'm going to play this game again

So I wish you all luck in the future and you have my sympathy if your still playing this game in 2014

Teamwork is just a buzz word you've thrown out there without any actual substance .. seriously all you said was 'teamwork'

My issue and in fact the actual point raised in my OP is that I'm tired of spending every game having to chase Tanks around (with teammates) all match because even if we do take a couple out they are so cheap they get respawned in and the problem never ends .. teamwork has nothing to do with it and also you actually said I should rely on someone else in the 16 man teams to be skilled into tanks to take out tanks .. thats idiotic

You basically said I have to hope I'm on a team who has tank users to take out the enemy tank users and that is your idea of teamwork .. LMAO

Don't like chasing tanks? Don't do it. Odds are that someone else on your team is more than willing to do so, and is probably already calling in the tank to chase with. Teamwork has everything to do with it because you will never be the one man army you want to be - you will always rely on your teammates to fill the skill and gear gaps that you alone could never fill, and until you realize this your thread is a joke.
