Tank spam is already getting worse and we're not even two weeks in, more and more people are skilling into tanks as the new flavor of the game.
Nevermind that the red line + recall = invincible tanks that deny all but the most organized vehicle play
CCP has no idea what they want this game to be

What, because someone doesn't want to play tanks, but is forced to play tanks, that's not a legitimate reason to be upset with the game?

You can have two railgun tanks on your side as a dropship pilot, and still be entirely denied the field because a single red line tanker can roll backwards to evade your tanks, while still having LoS to you on most of the map. And as an added bonus, he only needs to roll forward to take a shot or two at your allies tanks if they so much as try to respond to the infantry that will be killing them, since they themselves aren't in the red line.

Now you're just being an ass because you know he's right.
The counter to redline rail tanks is a railtank of your own, that gets lucky, is of much higher skill than the red line tanker, and who risks far more by being outside of the redline, where the enemy rail tanker can just roll back and recall, or roll back, then back out and pop your tank.
Adding in that swarms and plasma cannons are inadequate at best vs an intelligent pilot, you're left with a single infantry AV option that is reliable, yet you'll often run with people using swarms which only hurts your team, since they can't fire on infantry, and will only be killing terrible tanks. Dropships are great supplemental firepower against tanks, except for the above mentioned rail tank that a DAY ONE player can call into the redline and be immune to basically everything, and entirely deny ALL dropship play on the map outside of flying in circles.

Yea, if everyone bails it's best to just hide out in the MCC because you'll usually get >1,000,000 ISK for the match.
I wish I could get more of those matches, but instead I get the same thing but all my blues are trying in vain to kill the enemy militia tanks with their advanced fits, while they get slaughtered by tanks and infantry alike.
Please guys, just quit, so I can get isk to pay for all the dropships I lose to free sicas so deep in the red line they might as well be on vacation
