Active scanners are one of the few equipment items in the game that actually have a counter. If you want to be stealthy you need to use dampeners. You'll have less EHP but if you're good at being stealthy you should never have to engage an enemy head on. |

I used 24k SP on the basic scanner and now I feel dirty for using it in combat. The damn thing is super OP. |

What you said makes absolutely no sense. Dampeners and active scanners are each other's enemies. You can't beat one without the other.

It's called 1 complex profile damper on your scout suit. that's it. Nothing but the one proto scanner can get you (Forgot the name, but no one uses it). And if you put two complex profile dampers. Not even that proto scanner will find you. You'll be completely invisible.

Exactly what he said. It's working as intended. You can't have one thing without a counter to it. Active scanner find people. Profile Dampners hide people. Multiple Dampners trump scanners.

You need 4 Complex dampeners in order to avoid all scanners.On a Scout with all Passives at 5.
Thats 3.5 MILLION SP (OR MORE) that cant beat a 1million SP or less Active scanner.
This is stupid.
