I'll be honest, they're too damn cheap. A milita fit should cost 250k. A good tank should cost 600k. Enough to be collected over 2 matches, but not enough to spam.
then we can go back to the good old days of only the best tankers being able to run them in pubs bc our corps pay us for pc services cuz we're OP as all hell. so only 30 ppl can run tanks at all. sounds good to me :) i enjoyed the elitist brotherhood...

A tank shouldn't cost as much as a protosuit, it's pretty crazy that they're so cheap. Even a Militia tank should cost at least 2x/3x a proto suit. |

scrubs want to spam tanks because they have no gun game.
I remember the days of my Militia tank costing around 300,000 ISK.
These idiot nooberries couldn't deal with that like we had to coming up, they just want everything handed to them. |

you know back in 1.6 how the most expensive std fitted tank would be at least 1.5 mill. in 1.7 i think that would be worth it atm.
when we get our pro tanks iam expecting it plus the fit to range into at least the million mark. |

For AV? Rail is the only way worth bothering with. For infantry? Redline railing is easy enough; CQC is hard. Only scrubs redline rail.
I admit, I sometimes succumb on south side Manus Peak...

this morning I popped 10 tanks in 1 game from my red line, I know I should feel bad but hey they didn't have to keep on calling them you would think watching a whole 4 man squad of tanks going pop in less than 1 minute would have deterred them but nope they went for another shot lol and just after I popped them all again two more militia HAV Rambo's appeared and immediately felt sorry deploying those tanks. ahhh some will never learn

they have hope that the severely overpowered railgun gets nerfs.
1.6 fire rate
reduce damage by 100
make shields take 70% damage to rail tech
buff swarm launcher damage by 20, or 10
increase RE damage to 3000

So,
We have 16 players, 3-4 of them using tanks. We can die from tank fire in a matter of running from one cover to another... But tanks can escape using warp drives...
If I use AV, the most I can accomplish is pissing of a tanker to retreat, or destroy a Milita tank if a miracle happens,
I can use proto suit and proto rifle... It wont do a thing against a militia tank...
I can use proto suit with a proto Swarm ... It wont do a thing against any tank.... (And it even costs me more than that Mlt tank that guy is using...)
So... this is balance... I'm supposed to HTFU and not complain about the cost of tanks (If we transfer this to real life it gets even worse... tanks are a lot more expensive and vunerable...)

Adv/proto hulls yet to arrive
Right now my most expenisve tank is 500k and thatsa standard hull with complex everything on it, add in adv/proto hull with more slots means more expenisve overall
Also what if they add in more vehicle types which cost alot more just for the hull like they did with lolenforcers
