Really? so that MLT tank is supposed to have a gun only slightly weaker than proto, and modules that provide the same bonuses? not "lower tier" ones like infantry gear right now. THE SAME as the guy who spent millions of SP to earn better. his just come off CD faster and he can equip one more due to using a real tank.
MLT is supposed to be a reasonable facsimile of the final product(skillpoints and modules come later), not 90% as effective as someone who skilled into it, for zero investment whatsoever. That is broken.
Lets give you a different example you can understand.
Johnny MCnewbie buys a militia suit, gun, mods, and equipment. He now has 90% of your HP, damage capabilities, and he's using whatever equipment you use. You've been playing for over a year, invested time, millions of skillpoints, and practice. Now this jackoff is herping and derping around the field, getting kills, and everyone is crying to nerf YOU instead of the core problem that this new militia suit is simply too effective in it's role.
Is it fair to nerf your entire role because one thing is out of whack? Does it make sense from a developer's standpoint to kick a major amount of your customers square in the balls, because the ones who won't be effected in the least are doing something screwy?(yeah, keep telling me those MLT fits are just as invested as me. We both know they're just the kids looking for and abusing the OP thing for the month)
Are you just mentally deficient? Infantry and tankers agree that MLT tanks are far too effective, and you sit there claiming that it's only tankers saying this and that we just want godmode tanks. We don't. We're happy where we are now, we're tough, but kill-able if we get caught with our pants down, or overextend ourselves. the same goes for infantry. Sorry that you haven't figured out not to shoot the glowing tank.
I know it's a hard concept, but if the tank is glowing, you're going to need this thing called "teamwork" to kill it. Or this other thing called "patience" to wait it out and then hit him when his hardener is down.
If you hear the words "WORTH IT!" look about, something hilarious just happened.

I have yet to be killed one on one by any MLT tank. My death(singular) to a MLT swarm was 3 of them at once against the only tanker on my team(me) in a lolfit(armor tanked gunni without a hardener or shield boost) I killed two of them before going to the great junkyard in the sky. I then switched from missiles(my specialty. also, not available to MLT tanks) to my god-cannon fit and proceeded to kill the last one and prevented them from calling in so much as an LAV for the entire rest of the match.
A well fit tank with high SP is destruction incarnate. A MLT tank with no investment at all is a major thorn in the side. That is not right, that is something that someone who just started the game can do for basically pocket change to make themselves 90% as effective as a real tanker. Or for the "I only play what's broken so I can jerk my EPEEN about my K/D" crowd.
Again, how would you feel if maximum skilling and spending hours tweaking your build, staring at the fitting screen until you squeeze out those last extra CPU you need, was damn near identical to something that someone who doesn't even know the controls was using in effectiveness, with the only real difference being experience and your window of weakness being shorter and you window of opportunity being slightly longer?
It is stupid that MLT tanks are so damn effective with 0 investment into skills.
